Did you know that every Senator and Rep in the 39th Congress who wrote and ratified the amendment - every one of them who spoke (it was written in the Congressional Globe of 1866 -67 -68) - insisted that citizenship would NOT be granted to children born to aliens?

Why did they keep repeating it? Because so many in Congress voiced outrage that the wording might be interpreted to grant citizenship to babies born to aliens.

How could the Extreme Court think the Congress meant to grant citizenship to tiptoe-in-the-shadows illegals and deny to kids of known representatives of friendly governements? They HAD the record, read what had been said, but indicated they were not allowed to consider it. The minority opinion insisted they DID have the power to consider extraneous writings if they clearly explained the intent of the law.

I am a Native American...(Mohawk Indian, and Cherokee)...and it seems so funny to me how white people are complaining about how the illegal immigrants are coming here without permission, but which Cheif gave white people the permission to come over here to steal our land, kill our people, and take over? You white people cant get mad because you did it to us! So how does it feel to have people come into your land without permission? What goes around comes around doesn't it? LOL!

Ramos and Compean were sentenced to 11 years and 12 years respectively. Oh, and the smuggler was granted immunity for the 743 pounds of pot, and is suing the federal government for $5 million.
As everyone knows, drug smugglers would never carry a concealed weapon and prosecutors should take a drug-ring lieutenant’s word over that of Border Patrol agents with clean records.

This could solve the problem. We could accept the ones who already have citizenship if the law is amended so that it couldn't be abused any more. Do you think illegal pregnant women would try to induce early labor to beat the deadline?

I have had people tell me, what if the US was invaded, wouldn't I fight. So okay, if the jihadis are justified, am I justified in driving a van packed with tnt to the local illegal hangout on Sunday and blowing myself and a few hundred illegals up. They are invading, so I would be justified right?

ok now we all herd the term Job Americans dont want . well i personally think if they give those jobs that they say we dont want to those that are on welfare food stamps etc that they will be able to keep the cost of produce down as well as cut down the amount of pepole on welfare that are able to work or have a spouce able to work etc , for example if someone was on welfare recieving 350 a month for them and one child and they worked at the jobs we so called americans dont want and make 450 a month thats one less family on aid . what do u think and give me your oipioln in this matter

I asked a question earlier about asking a Mexican immigrant questions. We are having a guest speaker tonight in SOC class and I would like to have some questions ready for him when I get there.
