The incidents that left a lasting impression in my mind, will always be the desecration of the American flag.It didn't happen as the same day as the march/protest of illegal aliens and their supporters .But its all with in the same time frame.
It made a lot of Americans change their minds about the intentions of the illegal aliens and their supporters. The high school kids tearing down our US flag at a tax payer supported school, and replacing it with the Mexican flag And putting the US flag under it, up side down. Was a total disgrace. Also the tearing down of the US flag at a US Post Office.
That's the total disrespect I remember. Here in Arizona we never skipped a beat when the illegal aliens took to the streets. The city's and the state ran smoothly without a hitch.
They seem to really hate this nation and all it stands for.
Why do you want to be in a country that you have no respect for and certainly no love or allegiance to.

I am not going to judge illegals because I understand that the process to come into this country legally is long and very expensive. The people that come illegally in the first place is because they don't have money. They are very poor and need to work to feed their families. So how can they come here legally if they don't have the money to be paying to get here legally. Illegally they can come work and pay back their "coyotes" and even if they went Thru the process there is a big chance of them getting denied permission to come into this country. Just to get a visitors visa is hard and expensive.

No one should forget the day the illegals showed their true intentions. And no one should let them forget the day they lost a great deal of support from US citizens. It was a foolish thing for them to do and I know they'll probably do it again. The results might be a little different next time. Loss of support and stepping up enforcement of our laws was not enough for them. I wonder what will be? They shouldn't dare us to enforce our laws and then howl about it on tv every time we do. When I see illegals crying I don't forget that before that they were laughing, chanting, demanding, and marching. It's hard to work up any sympathy for people who act like that.

No I am never going to forget that protest on Cinco de Mayo. Because I am a Latina and proud to be and I formed part of the march for illegals and their rights. I am brown and proud no shame to have formed part of this march because I am not going to deny that I too migrated to this country and others should have that right. We are all AMERICANS whether we have or don't have the paper work. Because this country is a free country and not because man said so but because GOD created us equal and will not treat us different just because we were born in Mexico or in China. So I am LATIN and proud to be it.
If the universal visa extends on the day in which we are born and expires upon death, Why do they pursue you the illegal, If the consul of the skies (GOD), Already gave you permission.......(by Ricardo Arjona/Intocable short translation to MOJADO)
