We have joint checking account and i would cause me serious financial hardship. Her reasons are many, but basiclly I have done all the work to this newly renovated house and she stayed away a and would not help. Now she is disgrunteld, scorned after she said we were all done and to move on , I did and she got upset to say the least.

many times i have heard on here that the illegals are doing us a favor as our growing elderly population is growing so, them paying into our social security will help us(hmm mrrm ) . well what about all the elderly they are leaving behind in mexico evidently the president of mexico thinks its a big problem he is offering companies incentives to pay young Mexicans higher wages. giving them an incentive to stay home and develop higher skills. This loss of labor can't go on forever. Mexico is losing people as it is (growth has slowed to 1.16% from 1.53% in 2000)
Calderon is up against not just market forces. Mexico's young people are leaving for El Norte even before they start looking for work in Mexico because their peers are doing it.

It also complements Calderon's emphasis on the rule of law. Unlike his predecessor, Vicente Fox, who sought amnesty for illegals in the U.S., he is urging the U.S. to accept more legal workers to end border chaos.

Illegal aliens are pervasive. They are everywhere. They kill, per day, more Americans than we loose in Iraq. If they're deported they come right back. They commit multiple crimes. They taunt us with their illegality. They drain our taxpayer funded entitlement programs. They mock our Rule of Law. They have little respect for our culture. Our national sovereignty is a joke to them.

Virtually every citizen is affected by this invasion.

to work,for the most part,its been happening for 20 years even though they live off the Government,even though they work they work under the table and sent the money home to Mexico,I guess the question to most Americans is what about the ones who come here to rape our country? If I follow the plan right as long as you are a hard worker, you may use fraud all you want, if you pick fruit you get to apply for welfare,food stamps, why because you are a hard worker. You may get medical services for free, why because you are a hard worker. I know this may get me a violation, but when did America become just the USA? I hear people saying "America, Love it or Leave it." and that Mexicans aren't Americans. When did Mexico break off from the Americas? I learned geography, and there are 7 continents, not 8, so when will people from the United States of America teach their children Geography instead of bigotry?

Also, why is it that when people mention Illegals, they automatically think of people from the Americas when they can bee from Asia, Europe, Australia, or Africa?

My friend and I have to pick some aspect of illegal immigration in America and one of us has to argue for it while the other argues against it.

Many of the good topics are taken: birthright, english as an official language, amnesty, etc. If any of you have any ideas, I'd really appreciate it. Many of you have already established that a possible right for illegal immigrants to vote is a bad idea, as I suspected.

So far Immigration has raided meat packing and chicken processing plants and the owners are having a hard time filling the positions. Which mean steak and chicken will be hard to get and the price will go up. And that is only the beginning. Soon hotels,restarants and housing will cost more also as these industries begin to lose their illegal workers. And if you are one of the people who want the illegals to be sent out you really have no room to complain about the high prices you soon will be paying and will have forced the rest of us to pay as well..

The pro Advocate's want to site rules, why are illegal aliens not required to obey any rules instead they shower them with, oh they just want a better life nevermind those silly rules. Though pro advocate's siting of rules--- what about the rules illegal aliens have to follow like a process to go through if they want come here ? What about those rules ?Where is the advocate's siting of rules when illegal aliens get to lie,get to steal,get free medical care,document fraud and food stamps ? It was proven on CNN in Oklahoma , when the state admitted to the fact they do give food stamps and welfare to illegal aliens. Only the pro advocate's seem to be saying illegal aliens are not require to follow any rules = they just want a better life. Do the pro advocate's have double standards much like Mexico does ?
