Illegals live in the apartment next door to me-2 bedroom apartment and 15 people are in there, constant noise and ignorance, their 9 children run all over the place unsupervised stealing everything in sight, while they sit inside and get drunk, take up 5 parking spaces for all of their cars, they pretend like they don't understand English but, that is a lie! Having them watch you as you walk to your car is just creepy, circus music playing all night long and they bark! I don't care what color they are , and no they haven't taken my job yet, yes they are a huge drain to the US, they have to sneak in and can't do things the honest way.If they are illegal they need to go! they are ruining our country.Illegals can murder someone and run back to their country and get away, have you noticed how many murders there are now since we have had the illegal immigration? rapes? credit card fraud? I know one nice family on the other side of me and I treat them with respect because they show my family and I respect but, so far they are the only ones.

I agree with Lily the police officer, as far as their color, they do'nt like their color, they dress in long sleeves and pants in the heat of summer in order not to get any darker, I know because I work in the greenhouse industry and have asked why they do this. They do'nt speak english because their is always at least one on the job that can translate to the others what is being said, yes they are a HUGH drain on American society, and no none of them could ever take my job, I am a professional grower and study every night and have since I was a little girl, I work circles around these people and I make alot more money than they do because I have the experience they lack and do'nt care to have, and yes I treat them exactly as they treat me, if their nice to me, I'm nice to them< if they cop an attitude with me, they get it back 100 fold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some could be nice people. But they are still breaking the law.
I could care less what color someone is that has nothing to do with if they are a good person or not.
The language issue is that many do not 'want' to learn english.
Anyone with common sense knows that if you really want to learn a language you will speak it at every opportunity.
And if you plan on living in the USA your kids should learn english and learn it first. their opportunities depend on it. But many many people say my kid is a mexican first and im teachin them spanish.. and yes ive heard several people from mexico say this about them and their kids first hand.
They are a drain on society Stephanie there is no 'think they are' about it .. its a fact.
And yes.. initially I do treat others how I would want to be treated. Some of them prove that they are not willing to treat people good however and so then I don't have anythin to do with those people if I can help it.

I think some are indeed nice people. But many of them are also in fact a drain on society. And they are all criminals. We should work to have a fair immigration system, and at the same time we should not allow illegals to stay in the country, period. We absolutely should not give any sort of financial aid to somebody that is a criminal. If it were harder to be an illegal (criminal) here, then there would be fewer illegals coming to the U.S. to work and receive massive welfare, education, and medical benefits and sending earned money back home.

I live in Arizona and have for many years.Trust me I have known quite a few illegal aliens. In Phoenix they have day labor pick up sites all over town. Some are covered like a bus stop ,some are out in the open. The competition for jobs is very lively. There can be any where from 2 to 40 + men waiting to be picked up by people willing to hire them.Because they wanted them off our main streets a few years ago they allowed a private group to build the sites. The heat here in the summer can be a killer. It can easily be 118 at 9AM The covered sites were to protect them from the sun. They are illegal because you MUST be illegal in order to be in the place. Its open air with a drive thru for pick up. They will work for any where from $5 to 10 and hour.CASH
I have also encountered many on my ranch. No one has ever been rude or mean to me or have I been to then.I don't hire any illegal aliens in my businesses.I speak Spanish so the language isn't an issue to me.
IN ARIZONA TRUST ME OUR ILLEGAL ALIENS SPEAK SPANISH.Of course in different parts of the country they are from other country's.99% of the illegal aliens in AZ are Hispanic.

I do not deny that "some" illegals deal drugs, belong to gangs, steal identities and take more from this country than they give back. I can only give you these FACTS about the ones I have known:
1. They are here because life is so much better for them than where they came from.
2. They WANT to learn English, have the legal right to stay here, become citizens.
3. They work hard at whatever it is they do.
4. They have REAL family values. When you are a guest in their home they share EVERYTHING with you.
5. They are trying to get papers legally, but the red tape, bureaucracy, and wait is unbelievable.
6. Nobody I have known has applied for (much less received) welfare, joined a gang, dealt drugs, written graffiti on a wall, anything similar, even as much as asked ME to borrow money.
I do not think people should break the law, I am not advocating that. But sometimes in this country we have laws and processes that should be CHANGED so that we are a country of HUMAN RIGHTS. The immigration process is VERY badly broken!

I have been around illegals before. I can't communicate with them because they don't speak Lakhota or English. I think they are nice, humble, hard working slaves. It is unfortunate that they must be forced to leave their homeland to survive. I think of them as victims of their own government, and refugees here in the United States.
Although I can sympathize with their desire to have a better life, I don't think America will be able to survive an a massive northern migration of Mexicans into this country. As far as treatment goes, I think the Mexicans have been treated well while here, free medical, free housing, free food, the list goes on.
What about how the Mexicans are treating the American taxpayer who is responsble for their free goods and services? No appreciation from Mexicans, but protests, marches, Mexican flag waving, and the race card.
What is it with Americans who care more for illegals who are hurting the American skilled labor force by driving down wages and hiring themselves out as cheap slave labor?
There is an imbalance here, an economic threat that should not be ignored. What has the country of Mexico done for you? Why should the USA do more for Mexicans than their own government?

I know several that live in the low income houseing in my town. Some of them are nice and trying to better there lives. Some are tearing up the housing complex there, they play loud misic and disturb the ones who are actually trying to work. It is a battle between them.Even the ones who try to work say they depend on our government assistance to get by. I feel if they had a chance to help in America anyway they could to make a difference they would, but they are just to poor to get ahead. And the ones who dont work make them look bad, partying all night and being hateful and disrespectful. I think Americans need to spend more money helping the illegals who want to make a difference come to our country and spend less giving a free hand out to the ones who use our system.

Anyone who has ever stepped foot into a Wal-Mart or onto the parking lot of a Home Depot has been around illegal immigrants.
They might as well set up housekeeping in Wal-Mart~ there are so many there ALL the time.
If they were legal they wouldn't be standing in from of Home Depot offering to work for cash at below the going rate for the job.

There is nothing wrong with the illegals work ethics. Its something to be admired. However when you pay taxes your paying for them also.If you had the quality of your lively hood threatened, you would see things in a different fashion.I think racsism or color is brought up when people really dont understand a situation. After all a lot of Americans are of mixed race.
