Been told he would have to go back to Zimbabwe to get spouse visa and this could take up to 6mths, (we want to get married this year), but this is not safe for him to return. Does anyone no a way round this where it can be done in UK????? PS...he is not a drain on society as he has his own money and would not be claiming benefits.

the only reason illegal immigration is going to be lowered is by reforming the current immigration laws. we all know that the 1986 amnesty was a joke a mistake, even me as someone who is not from this country and not hate illegals, thinks that. it was a real joke it did nothing, the only thing it did was legalize all the illegal aliens who were living in the US at the time it didnt create any new visas, especially working visas. we never knew it was going to bring problems in the future, but hey guess what ?it did. there is not enough working visas right now not any one can get a working visa no regular person can get one. that is what we lack we all know there is a big foreign work force who wants to come work and do jobs some americans dont want to do, and dont say no, because trust me you aint going to be working in the fields. so the US knows this why didnt they make more legal ways. this aint just the fault of the latin american countrys is partly the fault of the american gov too

I do believe that Jade Goody and co are clearly bullying. It is also my opinion that Jade is not necessarily displaying blatant racism, however, I personally believe that she is portraying the resentment for the large amount of foreigners who have come to Britain. That is to say, a vast majority of British people feel that they have lost their British identity which has become embroiled in the over-whelming political correctness, and all too lax immigration laws. Fear has been spread due to the controversial actions of the minority of 'muslims' who have been in the media over the last few years. It would seem that diversity does not work, and this has been proved through the polarisation of communities throughout our country.
It is the aforementioned issues that need to be addressed, but Jade Goody and co are simply not the candidates to bring these delicate matters to the fore.
I would like to make it clear that I am most certainly not racist. However, I do feel strongly about the issues that I have mentioned.

We are American born, Is it true college is free to canadians? Would our children become eligible, if we became citizens? How do we go about relocating, and giving up our rights here in America to become Canadian citizens?? immigrant- A person who comes to a country where they were not born in order to settle there. (every person who enters legally or illegaly fits this category)

Illegal immigrants in America come from EVERYWHERE!!! Not just Mexico. My neighbor is an illegal Irish immigrant. She gets paid under the table and buys designer purses with it. She doesn't pay any taxes! I've met some Mexican people who have made half as much and feed their families with it.

How about the slew of Asian women who smuggles themselvs in here? Many, forcibly or not, go into sex work. You've seen the "Made in America" labels? American sweatshops are filled.

Why is it no one counts Canadian illegals? Where's their border plan? You know thousands of them exist.

Is it because Mexicans are darker skinned, that people notice them and turn a blind eye to everyone else?

If you want to play the blame game, blame the American economy. If employers can't or won't shell out to pay a minimum wage, would you work for them? How about if it was to pick strawberries or mop up vomit? If work has to get done, who would they hire?

i m german and i want to stay in the usa...of course..like everyone!i lived in the states before for one year as a au pair.now i want to move for good because of my bf. we want to get married too but i dont want to get married right away and jsut so i can stay in the us. i get a lot of different answers. every german i ask says i cant go because it would be illegal to go there on the visitor visa and try to find a job then.. and the other visas just takes too damn long i dont want to wait one year, im german im impatient! so whats the best thing to do? oh and i worked for the us army here in germany too if that helps
