Immigration - January 2007

[Selected]: All categories Politics & Government Immigration

As far as I know, the U.S. has signed the U.N. declaration of human rights and should uphold its principles when dealing with immigration. If you can't guarantee the freedom and security of the people who live in your country, you're not fulfilling your moral obligation.

It's not about whether or not your in favor of illegal immigration, it's about whether you handle it with compassion or sheer racism.

We gonna need them anyway from building streets to cleaning gutter. from farm to the kitchen. There are few of them who are making all those hard working look bad. This can also be like how about white man/women killing someone else. or black or chinse or other. There are bad people everywhere. Look at your own area I bet we ll see someone bad person there. Immegrants made this country. I am sure whoever reads this there fathers are from other country as well. May be they were illegals too. But it was back then. Crime is a crime nomatter if you steal a penny or kill someone. There might be different punishment. If we need to stop illegals we need a better plan. We need to make sure of dealers or whatever they call it dont bring them anymore. May be better education and have everybody go to army(MUST) and stay in middle east. Station in IRAQ. its win win situation. Like we took apart to USSR we can do to IRAN and we ll control tons of oil. We cant just leave our army there anyway. LOL.

I am looking to possibly migrate to Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil later this year if this is possible due to a long never ending drought here. I had a close freind from Fortaleza last month come over here to see me for the first time to Australia and as Australia is in the grips of the most depressing long growing 7yr drought, seeing everyone in business here is being forced to close and going into poverty here, I am looking to migrate to Brazil to where my close freind lives in Fortaleza if this is possible? I will close my new business I have just started 6 months ago, if no rain by June and my tax return pay for a one way ticket to Brazil. What training and employment does Fortaleza offer? I am a self taught PC technician and am upto a certificate 3 standard in IT and am prepared to retrain or continue educational training if need be.Is it possible to get permanent residence in Fortaleza, Brazil as in migrating? I also need to find out how to learn to speak Portuguese too?Thankyou Kindly

What do you think about this ?
Is this the correct path for the US ?

Last Wednesday, Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Larry Craig (R-ID), Ted Kennedy (D-MA), Mel Martinez (R-FL), Barbara Boxer (D-CA), and George Voinovich (R-OH) introduced the first guest worker amnesty legislation of the 110th Congress. Entitled the Agricultural Job Opportunities, Benefits and Security Act of 2007, or known by most as the "AgJobs" bill, this legislation would allow illegal aliens who have worked in the agriculture sector for a portion of the past three to five years to apply for temporary legal status and then permanent resident status, putting them on a path to citizenship. Families of the 1.5 million illegal aliens receiving guest worker status would also be eligible for legalization (and eventual citizenship) if they are already living in the country.

Students at Columbia U rushed the stage and attacked Jim Gilchrist (who had been invited to speak). Why are they calling someone a racist who is speaking about illegal law breakers? It seems these people would stab a citizen in the back for an illegal.

Everyone on this planet has a right to be an American citizen if they choose. I'm a staunch conservative and traditionalist but I say if anyone and I mean anyone wants to visit here or live here, we should welcome them with open arms. The INS should be closed, period.

What I'm wondering will we have to include a green stripe in the American flag? And will "Uncle Sam's" name have to be changed to "Uncle Daddy".

Someone said, "When did, We the People" become "Me the President?”

“Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America” (SPP)

http://www.judicialwatch.org/5979.shtml

Excerpt:

” With respect to border enforcement, the council recommends that, “A reasonable grace period should be established at border crossings, during which time people lacking documents are educated about their options and allowed to pass.”

On March 23, 2005, heads of government Vincente Fox, George W. Bush, and Paul Martin launched the North American partnership at a meeting in Waco, Texas

Critics maintain the partnership will sacrifice U.S. sovereignty by establishing a “North American Union,” with open borders and a common currency.

How many people know that the 9-11 terrorists came legally student visas incorrectly done by someone in immigration? All my friends who have visas use lawyers and legal services to make sure their i's are dotted and t's crossed to prevent rejection. This indicates that they were walked through in all probability. They are still handing out student visas without investigating without doing all the required processing such that they are working all over this region and have never been accepted into a University or academic environment which is required prior to approval for a student visa. Someone said to me so what if they are also renewing tourist visas for 15 years while people work in the US on them for 15 years in a row at least they are here legally. It is not legal to be in the US or any other country on a tourist visa and work.

Why do so many fail health inspections ? Why are they all painted the same color? Would it hurt the taco stand to have a America flag or are they scared to give up their oath to Mexico? Many Mexican Americans complain about the lack of American flags saying the taco stands really want to make money off their oath to Mexico.
