I am south african and married to a uk citizen am on auk visa?

Question

I have heard that I can apply for indefinite leave to remain as I have been in the uk for 18 months .Ihave been in employ for 16months and would like to become a British citizen ,however I am led to believe that I need first apply for indefinite leave to remain .
I will have been in the country for two years on the 25 Sept 2007.
Please would you supply forms and any other literature I need for this test.

Hi Peter
You can try the Immigration and Nationality Directorate. They will sort you out with all the forms.
I am also South African , been here nearly 4 years and really missing sunny, warm weather.
