The Draft brings in the cowards, why would you want an ILLEGAL in your military? That would be a kick in the pants for all military people, not to mention a security breach.Just send them back, get rid of them....

I would not want to be in a fox hole with some mutt from another country working for a ticket to ride. Particularly when you figure if the guys was Hispanic he would be screaming what sounds like HI! When what he is meaning is that there is a gun over there pointed at YOUR HEAD! Language problems.

I think it is better, since we are supporting them anyway, to put them into work programs where they build and dig and do the kind of work Americans won't do. Yes, pick fruit etc. After doing this for whatever a period seems right, they can get in line and become citizens. This approach would be for the ones caught here illegally. Seems fair. The ones who actually try to get in legally,we will put at the front of the line. To Hell with the rest of the world that wants to come here. Seems like all of Washington wants Mexicanos to be our next new American citizens. Do they know something I don't? I wish they'ds tell the secret.

First, I believe we must enforce our border laws.

However, what you are suggesting is called "forced subscription." We fought the War of 1812 over that when the British were doing it to our sailors. Also, we'd end up with armed forces who have nothing for which to fight..no mission.

If the roles were reversed, and you were caught entering Mexico and subscribed into their army, how well would you fight for Mexico.

I think you and your jerk circle, @ss grabbing buddies should be required to join too. Requring people to be in the military is something they do in third world countries, not in America. Thats not what goes on in a democracy.

Force someone to go in the Army, hmmm, that's scary especially if he is in your batallion, think about it... I'm sure they have enough problems as it is... Besides, our military is the best in the world.

No, I think that would be a slap in the face to any citizen that volunteered. Better idea would be to get the military to handle the problem of illegals

I'm not for it for the strengthening of the military for the ability to have more fronts, but I do agree for the point to prove their loyalty to the country...

France's version is called the foreign legion... when your duty is complete, you have French citizenship (though this is more for people trying to 'disappear' historically)

I do not particularly want someone who cannot speak English nor obey U.S. law to be in the uniform of MY country, standing beside or anywhere near ME, especially with a weapon in his hand.
I have no problem, however, with putting them to work fixing highways, picking up litter, demolishing condemned buildings, etc. WHILE LEARNING ENGLISH.
It might be a way to get them into our country in a positve way.
