You will need to get an employer to sponsor you. Unless you are in very specific trades that are under-represented in the US labor market, you will not be able to apply directly.

You are a not eligible for the green card lottery.

If you have a family member who is a US citizen, they can sponsor you.

The immigration site has more specific information on the process: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis

You have to get your father to claim you, only then might your paternal grandmother be able to sponsor you. Even still that kind of sponsorship of an adult relative takes a long, long time. You father should have registered your foreign birth at the time. Now that you're an adult you'll probably have to proceed as though your father was not American, by which I mean a work visa, green card application and eventually perhaps becoming naturalized as a US citizen.

Why would you want to move to the USA.
Everybody owns a gun and they do like to use them .........on anybody.
If you get sick and have no insurance (( which will cost you a bomb)) you wont get much treatment.
Depending where you go theres a good chance you will get mugged or shot ...or both .
Best to stay in civilised country like th UK .
There are more gun crimes in a week in any big US city that there are in the UK in a year.

There's much more room in Mexico. You should immigrate there because there are no jobs left in the USA.
