The requirements to file a fiance visa to the US are:

1. Petitioner must be a US Citizen.
2. Both petitioner and beneficiary must be single and free to marry. Previous marriages must be completely disolved prior to filing the application.
3. Must have met in person at least once, within the past 2 years.

I am in the same situation myself, also. I encourage you to find a good immigration attorney. There are some who only process Fiance(e) and Family Visas. Talk with them. That is what I'm doing.

honestly, i am in the same situation and i dont think that they do that anymore. whatever anyone tells you dont trust them until you really research what they tell you and you are 100% sure that it is not fake becuase if it is you could end up worse than you already are. if you find anything out let me know.
