alien- A person who comes from a foreign country; someone who does not owe allegiance to your country. (every person who enters legally or illegaly fits this category)

immigrant- A person who comes to a country where they were not born in order to settle there. (every person who enters legally or illegaly fits this category)

undocumented- Lacking necessary documents as for e.g. permission to live or work in a country

After careful review the word illegal alien has not merit, therefore the correct word shall be UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANT

By legal definition undocumented IS illegal they mean the same thing.
So a person could dress it up to look more benign if they wanted to but we know what it is.

One term won't fit all. Within the illegal alien community you have:

People who crossed the border without going through immigration

People who entered legally, such as on a tourist or student visa, then never left.

People who entered legally, worked for a company that sponsored them, then didn't leave when the sponsorship ended.

People who are in the process of applying for an adjustment of status (technically no longer illegal unless their application is ultimately denied)

I would agree. "Illegal alien" would suggest that the person, the human being, is illegal, not his violation. But what they are called somewhat depends on your position on related politics. Undocumented immigrant would be the most accurate.

hmmm...do, someone enters a country without following legal requirements...in other words that person enters that country ILLEGALLY...seems to me that makes him/her illegal, a criminal, no matter what the intention was...sorry, but ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT is exactly correct...and just to amuse you, anyone doing anything illegal should be arrested and brought to justice...in this case, deported and fined for all costs, including unpaid taxes...

Invader

That might be the PC term for them but with their hatred for Americans, the USA, our laws, and their arrogant attitudes, I think my 'term' fits them better:
Freeloading Criminally Invading Bloodsuckers
that is not
Politically correct but it is
...........Positively Correct
