Think about it, say you live in some ghetto with nothing personally, you mom and dad work all day but can only afford to feed and shelter you; you see kids with new Nike sneakers, and you want them. It's not the greatest excuse, but it's an often used excuse. As poverty decreases gang retention decreases, and poverty increases so do gangs.

The reason foreigners make up more of the violent gangs is because immigrants are usually the ones that are least successful in any country; therefore if any opportunity comes up where they can escape that, no matter what the consequeses, they'll jump on it.

It is a situation that society has created for them; society didn't push them into it, but society could've prevented it.

no, not execution, but I think life in jail for homicide is an appropriate punishment. I personally am tired of the "slap on the wrist" punishments that our judicial system gives to criminals. It makes our country less and less appealing every year......It seems as though criminals are the ones who are getting all the rights, and the people that try to lead good honest lives are getting preyed upon, and have no way to protect themselves anymore.
