well if you are canadian working for a us biz you would have never need a visa. tis is wierd. was it a naft related biz?

are you an immigrant to canada or the usa?

if the us employer like dyou so much they could have sponosred you to stay in the usa.

If your work is done in Canada, then you are not subject to American laws and regulations. And your employer (who effectively has operations in Canada) should comply with Canadian laws.
