ok now we all herd the term Job Americans dont want . well i personally think if they give those jobs that they say we dont want to those that are on welfare food stamps etc that they will be able to keep the cost of produce down as well as cut down the amount of pepole on welfare that are able to work or have a spouce able to work etc , for example if someone was on welfare recieving 350 a month for them and one child and they worked at the jobs we so called americans dont want and make 450 a month thats one less family on aid . what do u think and give me your oipioln in this matter

Edz Im sorry i dont agree with u there most pepole on welfare are not free loaders there are some that abuse it and ther eare some that really do need it because of a dead beat parent not willing to pay child support etc , there are other factors as well for example both parents are working but both only make minimum wadge and have five kids well the income combined is not alot to raise 5 kids on .
another thing some states are giving a 5 yr term to the parents that are aidded on the aid with ther ekids , thus after 5 yrs the parents will be taken off the aid

one more thing beside the 60 month deadline for adults on aid , there is now a 2 child limit on aid unless child was born before 1997 in some states , thus reduced alot of pepole on aid or the amount they would hsave recived

"Jobs Americans don't want" is a flawed statement. What they really need to be saying is "Jobs Americans can't afford to do at the rate of pay the employers would like"

There is nothing that an American citizen WON'T do. But, there are jobs that have had the wages suppressed so severly by illegal immigration, we can't AFFORD to do them.

Most people answering your question seem to think that the only people on welfare are illegal immigrants. And that is completely not true. There citizens on welfar, and all for different reasons.

The illegal immigrants don't make the wages what they are. Employers decide what they are going to pay. There are many homeless citizens that wont do the job for minimal pay, wont live in a less than great home, so who's fault is it they are homeless. Immigrants illegal or not do what they have to in order to keep their families with food on the table, and a roof over their head. And if that means working 10 hour days, and being paid less than minimum wage then that is what is going to be done.

So don't blame illegal immigrants for the decisions made by "American Citizens" Everyone has choices in life, and if you would rather be homeless, and beg for money, than working for a better life, even if it meant working in the fields, then quit complaining and blaming others for what you are doing with your life's.

I am a firm believer in the reduction in welfare....as Americans, we know hard work never hurt anybody.... I think every able-bodied person on welfare should be made to take a job making a liveable wage....this does not mean I would throw them to the wolves the first month they worked tho.... I have often wondered if this may be our governments way of keeping them "enslaved" under the governments thumb! I think the billions being spent on illegals could be put to a better use helping Americans - those on welfare & the working poor...and I do mean helping them up not keeping them on the dole....
It shocks me the NAACP has not "come out" against illegals...so much for supporting "their" people...have they also been bought like our federal govt?

Oh yeah, lets get the lazy people on welfare to do these jobs. The majority of these people are U.S. citizen that are just plain lazy, yeah I'd to see them come clean my kitchen, watch my kids, brick my house, put on my roof, lay the concrete for my drive way, wash the dishes in the restaurant I eat at, make my food at restaurants, & drive me around. Yeah welfare people will do that (whatever). And the ones that are legal now and the illegals are hard workers, they come here wanting a better life, and let us not forget how your ancestors came here wanting a better life for their off spring (YOU). And I'm not just talking about Mexican (thought for the small minded people). And what's up with "oh the Mexicans are bring in the drugs, how do u think they got here, because some greed *** U.S. citizen let them slide on though, not all illegal come barring drug, come on be smart people. We live in the Greatest country, thanks to Native American and our immigrants family who came here ( that's right that's how you got here, pick up a book sometime read our history, you might learn a thing or two), these people are not bring us down, we are a GREAT COUNTRY and will continue to be great country, that's our appeal, that's what our ancestors where shooting for, the land of opportunity, where we the people choose our leaders and not have to fallow a dictator.

What exactly is someone without a highschool diploma or ged qualified for?
Unskilled labor positions that's what.
And you know what those positions pay?
They pay squat- that's what.
Illegal aliens get stuck with crap work because they are illiterate- and that is all they are qualified for, not because Americans don't want to do it.
Plenty of Americans fill unskilled labor positions every day.
Illegal aliens are not an educated lot- even in their native countries- or they wouldn't be risking their lives to pick tomatoes here in America.
Really think about it, if illegal aliens were qualified for real work in their homeland don't ya' think it'd be easier for them to stay there?

Jobs Americans do not want is a Reality.
Alaska has trouble filling their hiring quotas for processors for "A" season Jan---Apr & "B" season Jun-Nov. Two biggest Processing plant in Dutch Harbor--- Unisea & Westward has to go on Recruiting Hiring thru-out Washington, California, Nevada just to hire their quotas. In 2000 thru 2004 they sponsor Somalians workers, because Americans do not want to do this type of work. 95% of the processing workers are immrigrants. Americans do work on Crabbing Boats(but you have overlook
criminal record).
During sick calls, EMT do take vitals when Doctor visit the Plants. 50% of sick calls are Americans even thou they only represent 5% of the workforce.
These jobs pay $7.15 to $10.00, but they work 12 to 18 shifts everyday for about 90 days. Room & Board is taken care of.
College Students try to work these jobs, but after the first week, they calling the parents for money to fly home. You get free ticket to Seattle after you complete 1500 hrs.
If was not for these immgration workers they would not enough fish & crabs for the lower 48 states. These are jobs Americans do not want.

Legal Americans in need, are entitled to use of the welfare system.There are many children and family's that need that helping hand.Illegal aliens that get welfare for their anchor babies should be cut off from that service.The 14th amendment needs to be repealed.Close that loop hole.

Illegal aliens are NOT doing work Americans won't do. What jobs won't Americans do? In most states, Americans still clean their own houses, do their own landscaping, clean hotel rooms, work in restaurants and fast food places, paint houses, DO CONSTRUCTION WORK, meat packing plants,slaughter house workers ,work in airports, etc. - just like we have the past 200 years before "our" government allowed these people to invade our country. There are 18 million Americans who cannot find a job, so illegal aliens who are coming here to work do so at peril to American workers. Because they will accept lower wages/working conditions/no benefits is the only reason the company's are hiring them.The company's are committing a federal crime by hiring the illegal aliens.
