because if you ever get caught in mexico and you are there illegal, sorry but you must probably will go to jail, they will take you money and keep you as a criminal for days until they decide to send you back to your country. They immigration officials check all buses coming from south for illegals, the y are not nice to them and definitely you have no right whatsoever to be, work, study or stay in mexico. No amnesty ever by the way... so how can they claim to deserve any rights in the US??

If an American went to Mexico on vacation and decided to stay, without a visa or work permit, what would happen to them? What if they had a baby there, would Mexico consider that child a citizen of Mexico?

They are struggling poor people,,who would they blame

Do you think a poor latinos plight is harder than a poor Polish person

btw where I live the Polish legal immigrants,,dirt poor, from Poland economy,,, are living worse than the latino illegals,,,,some live in tents by a polluted river and eat rats and oppusms for meals
,,they refuse to live in illegal housing,,work illegal jobs,,,they want to be respected by the American people,,,,and nobody is helping them,,,,I never heard of a slavic Human Rights org, but white people have everything easier right,,,yep

I wonder if anyone could possibly get me out of the turmoil that I seem to be in.

I'd recently got the job in the bank & as per their next procedure of checking anyone's eligibility to work within the country; they needed my P45 along with my birth certificate or the passport. Now, after trying in vain finding my birth certificate, I couldn't locate it & hence had been using my passport instead for the purpose.

I've sent my passport to this bank by post only yesterday & by the time they check it & send it back it could get to me by next week or so.

Problem now is, this bank job would start from mid November, while in the mean time, rather than sitting at home getting bored, I've been offered a temporary job lasting ONLY 2 weeks, which I rather fancied doing. However, the agency would need to see my passport legally, to ensure the fact that I'm eligible to work.

Increased drug trafficking constitutes another reason we must control our borders immediately. No matter how the government of Mexico resists, the Drug Enforcement Agency says as much as $25 billion in drug money crosses the U.S.-Mexico border each year. And that doesn't even count the money made from middleman and end-user transactions in the drug trade. In fact, more cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana enter the United States from Mexico than from any other point

My wife has a waiver approved for her back in 2000 when she was married to someone else; she's been divorce since and I petitioned for her and got the i-130 approved but now she has to leave and wait for her visa in her country (Ecuador). Is the 1-601 valid? Can she come back? Will she have to wait ten years because she never left the country after being deported in 1995? The i-601 was approved 'cause she has a US born daughter.

If a resident from another country marries a US citizen how long will it take for that person to be able to come to the US? The paperwork was filed with immigration in April.

A leaflet that I received in Barking recently talked of the great lie that Labour is spreading of how few immigrants are in the country, the BNP suggested we would know how many there actually were if we made it law to wear a badge such as a blue square which would denote asylum seeker and people would realise how many there actually are in the country without having to look at false stats. We could also mark other undesirables such as communists with red stars, Muslims with green cresents, the disabled and mentally ill with purple stars, etc. It would then allow for these people to be transported to guarded factories so that they can show that they really have something to offer the country, if they worked hard and showed that they integrated and had skills they could become free. These could be special 'Work makes you free' camps that would fairly allow those who want to become part of this nation the opportunity to do so. People say the BNP are Nazis for suggesting this, why?

Is the level of political correctness turning Britain in to a racist nation? Has the freedom to voice our honest opinions without getting jumped on made a bad situation worse?

I ask because after a recent visit to my local pub, I was shocked by the visciousness of my usually placid buddies on the subject of immigration. Also does it make me racist when I find it hard to disagree with many of thier opinions.

The main topic was on migrant workers, 400,000 of them when only 13,000 were expected, and unemployment rates for UK citizens up by the biggest jump in many years was their cause for concern.

Sensible opinions please.

It is the most important thing in our country right now. They are a sleeper cell sent here by their government to change US policies. The time to act is now.Vote for whoever will ship them out and build a big fence with some gun towers and land mines maybe.

I have seen some people here say that it can take 20 years (which I am a little skeptical about) to get a green card or whatever. Do you think a lot of them try to become legal and get tired of waiting? Or do they just say "Screw the law. I don't have time for that,"?

Also, would you be okay with amnesty for people who actually applied and deport all of those who didn't? Or are you against all amnesty?
