YES! Your right....Illegal immigration has been going on for generations.....All of the sudden its a crisis.....Lets reform the broken system, and secure borders and process the people who are already here, legalize them and make them honest citizens..!

That argument may have held up like 250 years ago when immigrants were needed to populate the land and develop a country.
You are right that immigration will not stop, and it should not stop. But it will be controlled. There are reasons for immigration laws.
Illegal immigration on the other hand will stop. Again, those laws are there for a reason. America does not need people with such a lack of respect for the American people and their laws.

We're not a nation of immigrants, no matter what the President says.
He's forgotten that there have been many, many generations of native born people here. My ancestors built towns and farms and schools and churches where before there was only savage wilderness.
We've built highways, hospitals, and universities. We sent our educated young men and women off to win two World Wars and then sent men to the moon to show the whole world what we could do.
Since, we've built a communications system unlike anything the world has ever seen. We've given vaccines, education and technology to the whole world.
I'm not an immigrant. I have no problem with LEGAL immigrants. Right now, we're being invaded by third-world people who bring with them crime, gang-culture, drugs, political corruption, and a strange sense of righteousness.
The invasion must end soon.

Actually it is our land. I don't know where you illegals and other non-citizens get off thinking this country was made for you. It was made for decent, hard working legal immigrants and native born Americans. It may not stop, but that will just encourage those who are deserving to perform drastic countermeasures, such as shooting you criminals. I'll be voting Republican in two years so we don't get a Dem who is misinformed and pro Amnesty, even though I am a Democrat.

Therein lies the problem. This land is a melting pot that is diverse because of the immigrants that have come here. However, in this country there are laws that we all must abide by. It is really rather simple when you think about it. In order to live here all you have to do is briefly study U.S. history, recite the pledge of allegiance in English, and pass a test. Is this too much to ask?

I don't hate immigrants. I just hate the ones that did it ILLEGALLY. And I only RESPECT the ones who did it right, the LEGAL way.
P.S. I'll vote Democrat too, but not because they'll allow illegal aliens here. They have to follow the law too.

I have a great idea then, lets just annex Mexico and force them to learn English. They all want to be part of the USA anyway. All or nothing. If they refuse we round up and execute all illegals, put in a 100 year ban on legal immigrants from Mexico.

No, Because it's against the law & endangers other people.
Same thing as granting amnesty to illegals
