Increased drug trafficking constitutes another reason we must control our borders immediately. No matter how the government of Mexico resists, the Drug Enforcement Agency says as much as $25 billion in drug money crosses the U.S.-Mexico border each year. And that doesn't even count the money made from middleman and end-user transactions in the drug trade. In fact, more cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana enter the United States from Mexico than from any other point

Honestly, I am pro amnesty and I support the fence idea....I have seen tight border security make a big impact, for the positive in my community....

We used to have a car/truck thief problem here, I live in El Paso....But our community decided to put border guards, every two miles and watch the borders, it was a huge success....It really eliminated the criminal element in our town....Granted we still have illegals/day workers, but they only come for work and nothing more....Now most, if not all the local crime are committed by Americans, but it is now relatively safe place to live!

You replied this your self. maximum come from the southern border, yet no longer all do. it quite is why the southern border needs secured greater so than the north. while the north starts to flood the united stateswith their undesirable, we will flow after that in simple terms as tenaciously as we've the southern border. right here is likewise the reality of it. The illegals no longer attempt to flow by the different ports, and entries into the U.S., by way of fact they're being stopped of their tracks in doing so. however the Mexican border has a ninety% risk that they could nevertheless make it for the time of with out any issues. the place might you attack the heart of the project? the place you have been effected the main? Or the least?

Difficult question (at least for me). I think putting up a barrier for any reason is a bad idea (remember the Berlin Wall?) It's a very poor symbol. Drugs have been plaguing society for how long now? Do you honestly think that a wall is going to stop the flow of the stuff into the US? I don't. Criminals are criminals and do it for a living - they will figure out a way around the wall (just like those desperately looking for a better life) and the billions of dollars spent to erect the darn thing will be wasted.

Many pro-illegals are so because they like to date illegals. The more we have here the more they have to choose from. Not being mean at all, and you would get it if you'd grown up in my town. Any girl could get a husband because there were so many illegals who needed wives for citizenship. Too many people are more concerned with their personal lives than the well being of this country.

One reason could be this is an election year and most under privileged illegals were registered democrat at the rally this summer, so the more the merrier.(tongue and cheek answer)

Another could be that they just want everyone to come into the country - be totally untraceable and free to do what ever they want to whoever they want.

Good question. I think we need to fix this problem because it's getting worse, not better. I guess there are some people who wants the illegals because they work for lesser pay, which means more money for the bigwigs at the top.

Why would we give a DAMN what the Mexican government thinks? This is OUR DAMN COUNTRY!!!

They just don't like it because they are the ones involved in the drug trade. They are helping get drugs into our country and money into their grubby little hands.

they are obviously more concerned about being politically correct than being a patriot with the best interest of America and Americans in the forefront!

I am not pro illegal, do not open links or watch Lou Dobbs.. a fence will not stop drug smuggling, Americans need to stop buying and using drugs.. who do you think is supplying the big bucks to have those drugs brought in?
