Because in America, illiteracy is very rampant.
They don't even learn their geography and may not even realize what they are talking about is crap. On top of it all, if they never travel abroad and learn about other cultures, the ignorance endures.

2. To label a Mexicano is probably the easiest thing to do...you eat borritos, work at McDonalds or mow the grass, you are lazy and you drive a pinto. See how easy it is to classify a person.
3. Unfortunately, you and I should have to speak the Native American languages or both go back to our Native Countries.
4. And last time I checked, the official language in the USA is English, it is also the most culturally relevant language that can be used in the entire world.
5. You must be very proud of your language because you mispelled and misused my language in you very short and very uninformed little blurb approximately 5 times. So, I do believe it is you who should either learn to speak English here or go back to Mexicano land.

say what? Hey man, culture changes. I don't care what you are or where you come from. Pride is one of the seven deadly sins and even though I'm nowhere near religious, this is one that I whole-heartedly agree upon. What is the difference between your views and nazi germany's views? You believe that your culture is right and no one elses can be correct? Your incredible ignorance is and will be your downfall; and has been the downfall of many nations in the past. Our society is everchanging. We must adapt to our new culture of Americans. To express this type of anger and rage will never solve anything. You should be speaking about the things that you think will make our new culture better instead of escaping back into your prideful defense of your "Latino Culture." You live in the same country as all of us, we need to make it work; and words like yours digress our culture about fifty years.
And "speak Spanish or go back to England?" What kind of ignorant statement is that? First off, the Spanish language originated from Spain so if you're "Mexicano," then you should be speaking ancient Mayan or Incan dialects. Don't be a fool my friend, educate yourself and work to better society. Hate speech will get you nowhere.

I am so sick of idiots bashing the USA. 40% of our growth comes from immigrants (legal and not) If this is such and illiterate, red necked ignorant unworldly wise place why the heck are they bashing down the gates to get here, Mexicans included. i believe religions & nationalities are self explanitory as should be minorities/majorities.
as for calling me a yankee - that is a reference to people on the east coast, i am from cali. before you go on a tyrade next time maybe you should realize you are doing exactly what you dislike so much.
by the way, though i am not fluent in spanish, i did learn enough to get by at my job. but seeing as english is the official language of the united states i should not be required to speak it. it is beneficial to both sides, but in no way should be a requirement.
