I'm a Native Texan, for hundreds of years this was not a issue.
Its a waste of money and a serious issue for my state, my country can't understand that it a "wall" won't work. I live here, I honestly know, first hand. These people are my neighbors and friends.

The health care excuse is a weak one, more welfare families use it for several "generations" than legal or illegal aliens. They do not pay taxes either and are not productive citizens, so what is the real difference there?

Our border needs to be protected by both sides, the Borderstates need to come together and create a unison of police power and money to supply such issues.

The government need to revise the laws and allow for a healthier work relationship among all imigrants of the world to USA. FDR- actually had a great plan that was scrapped after WW2 since it was not needed.

Anyone can cross a border, and float a shore, we have a huge country both north and south. Legally or illegally. Dangerous people are that, no matter how that come to be in our homeland.

I believe in developing a very strong program to DNA test and photo, print and sample each person that enters our country as part of the process. We can actually microchip them if neccary ( we do it to pets- why not). They get a 6 month visa {then annually), renewable with proof of employement with tax records or college transcripts for accredited schools ages 18-50. Seniors and children are exempt from employment records, but must belong to a social program or school that logs hours for social services for 4 hours a week of community service. Children under 5 and Seniors over 70 would be totally exempt. Unless enrolled in educational enhancement classes.

We need a peacemaker in office. We need a world leader that will stand up and make the USA the provider of the world by increasing our own country and not outsourcing the entire nation.
If you had to farm, sew, fix a machine or survive in peace could you? Ask a Katrina victim..... they will tell ya the truth.

I honestly believe that this "wall" is NOT the real issue, its an attempt to create a civil war by the government to "divert our attention" away from and spend more of our money on the "oil wars" in Iraq, Iran, etc and now soon Korea in a power struggle.

Oh, I have some seriously harsh words and ideas to handle the CRIME problems and the CORRECTIONS "jail house" life as well. I believe "all time" should be "hard time", No matter the crime, white collor crime, should see some yard work just as hard.

We don't close the border because of the cheap labor in Mexico. Most big business have their labor performed there because it is cheap and there is no such thing as OSHA. Most of the people who are well-off and own businesses hire illegal imagrants. If we stop using there labor (here and there) and have the National Gaurd on the border, and most of all any mexican charged with a crime (any crime) be sent back and never allowed to return every thing would be fine. Maybe there will be enough good Mexicans to fight their crooked government (who by the way allows Americans to be kidnapped, rapped, and murdered and doesn't blink an eye). And if it doesn't work; build the giant wall and make it illegal to even visit (like Cuba).

I would like to say, I have no problem with any Mexican living in America with documents, that contribute to society. It is unfortunate that rape among other crime at least double in areas when it becomes highly populated with Mexicans.

Actually it's easy. Sure a wall, etc. sounds great but.... if there is no money to be made no one will come. Actual employment laws. But more to the point. You see illegals lining up to send hundreds of dollars home every week. Make money here, send it home and go home eventually, no reason to integrate. No bank account needed for under the table work. Billions not reinvested in our country because building a life here is not the key for them. So, require western union and such to show ID when sending money.

work with in..
go after those hiring as well, they are part of the problem
if the illegals had no where to go and to work, it would deter them to come over
cut out the free services, get better in id checks before long we will be using passport or scanner ids
we need to understand anther factor, the system for them to leave and come over is difficult, most are too poor to afford application fees. (in Mexico)
yet we can not hand over when our own are in need..

I say take over Mexico make it a territory , not allow many large US companies to shut down and set up in Mexico at next to nothing wages (ok just a thought)

#1 Citizens who shoot at will.

#2 Don't offer any benefits to illegal aliens or their children (regardless of where the children popped out of the birth canal.) These denied benefits would include, but would not be limited to: Free Education, Free Health Care, Free Food, Subsidized Housing, The Right To Vote, The Right To Drive, The Right To March in OUR Streets, The Right To Legal Representation, etc.

#3 Begin deportation of ALL ILLEGALS AND THEIR CHILDREN (Regardless of where their mom was when they popped out of the birth canal.)

Once we have removed all who would enter and stay illegally in our nation "to find a better life" or "to do the jobs Americans just won't do," it would be easy to smoke out those who enter and stay illegally with hopes of enacting a terrorist plot.

Then we could dance under rainbows chasing butterflies...as long as we keep our government in line.

Illigals come to our country for the stuff they can get. They get: there baby's become instant citizens with all the benefits of a American citizen, they can get a job, healthcare free, assistants with housing, and do not pay taxes. If they don't get this stuff, we would have less people coming over the bourder. I forgot to say they also get free education.

I would like to see strong enforcement on the economic terrorist that knowingly hire illegals and dissolve the corporations and take their profits and use it for enforcement. Don`t give illegals a reason to come here and maybe they will stay and fix their own country.

Soldiers.

And anyone pregnant must be taken to a hospital NOT in the United States. That'll get the women to stop taking the labor inducing drugs.

I would like to hear how the liberals would resolve this problem. They havn't come up with a solution to anything yet. Maybe they have some ideas on this one.

Oops, I forgot they want to welcome them with open arms and then tax U.S. citizens to support them.
