I am a 50 years old women..my husband and my 3 children(19 yrs old, 21 and 25 yrs old) are citizen. I am trying to be a us citizen, but i cant speak english or write it due to my lack of education. is there any way that i can be a us citizen , other then taking the test ?? thank you (PS. Am her son whos writing)

Sorry but no. One of the requirements is being able to read, write, and speak English.

You have to take a test and I believe that test is only in English. How long have you been in this country? Why have you not bothered to learn English if you want to stay here?

That is part of the biggest problem most citizens are having on this immigration issue. It is not that we don't want immigrants, it is you should at least be able to adjust to being here and learn how to surrive on your own which does not include US to learn to speak to you.

If your Husband is a citizen, then you will be placed on the the fast track to citizenship. You must jump through all of the hoops. Though most of the literature is probably available in your language.

No you have to take the test in english, sorry. What you can do is to apply for permanent resident--not citizen. This way you can stay in the US (but you can't vote)

NO if you can't speak english. If you want to be an american citizen the least you could do is learn our langage.
