Most INTELLIGENT people know that Americans are the biggest illegal drug consumers in the world, and it's all supply and demand. There was even a piece today on 60 MINUTES about huge marijuana shipments crossing over from Canada. (Have any of you heard of 60 Minutes?) Now do you think drugs should be legalized? If it isn't coming from Mexico, it's now coming from Canada.

When the biggest drug consumers are YOU! white americans are the biggest drug users, and have been getting dusted for generations. My white neighbors used to be big meth users, and no they weren't getting them from some Mexican drug cartel. I tell you, if you guys aren't whining about a poor, uneducated Mexican "taking" your job, or committing every single crime in this perfect "crime free" country, then you're whining about Mexicans pushing drugs to your kids. I have news for your, Americans have been getting high for generations, and it's all supply and demand.

I was diagnosed with lupus last summer and it completely destroyed my kidneys. As a result, I've had to be on hemodialysis for over a year now. My parents wanted to donate a kidney to me but they were denied because of medical reasons: dad has hypertension and mom is pre-diabetic. My only other relative is my brother, but he's only 17. I have no other relatives living in the U.S., but I have plenty who live in Vietnam. My aunt, uncles, and cousins have offered to donate, but I'm not clear what the process is like for someone wanting to acquire a visa in this situation. Please help with more information. Thank you.

The fact is they get paid above minimum wage but the citizens aren't aware of this so they don't try to get those jobs. Day workers will charge on average of $13 an hour for medium labor like yardwork. I know this from talking to the day workers and thier
employers. They have formed unions in Texas and are trying to in New Jersey. Let me say this again. They state has allowed unions for day workers that are ILLEGAL. They illegals have demanded higher pay, air cond and heated trailers and BENEFITS. Does anyone else know about this. I've read an article and I am trying to find it on the net. If anyone finds this please post it. It was in Passaic NJ. This is not a question just an attempt to get more information.

See the LEGAL immigrants from back in the 1900's had to SWEAR allegiance to the USA.

But with so many Mexican illegals waving Mexican flags and sending SO much money back to mexico, it seems that they are more like Mexicans who only WORK in the U.S. not really the same spirit as the other LEGAL immigrants, no?

I just joined today and my God, all most of you people do is rant and rave about Mexicans. Not just illegals, but all Mexicans! I feel like I'm in a Ku Klux Klan meeting. And even Asians and some Blacks get in the act as if hating on Mexicans is going to make them more accepted with white society. I mean they're minorities too, and from what I can see many white people are just racist, and would take a Mexican neighbor any day over a black or asian.

I don't think the middle or upperclass Americans understand the situation because it's the americans that work on the poverty level that are getting screwed by this first......I'm thinking if anger builds it could cause major problems among the poor here in America.

Spain toughens migration policy, vowing to expel all illegals
Madrid- The constant influx of Africans to the Canary Islands has prompted Spain's Socialist government to toughen its immigration policy, news reports said Tuesday. The government now excludes massive amnesties to illegals and vows to expel all of them, according to the daily El Pais. The conservative opposition accuses Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero's government of encouraging illegal immigration by allowing large numbers of migrants to legalize their situation after staying in Spain for a while. About 1.2 million immigrants have obtained residence permits in eight massive amnesties over the past two decades. Around 700,000 of the migrants were legalized by Socialist governments. Socialist leaders have rejected the conservatives' request of a law against new amnesties, but have also said that the government would not stage any more mass legalization procedures.

No charges for man who shot immigrant while hunting in Texas
LAREDO, Texas -- A hunter who fatally shot an undocumented immigrant on a South Texas ranch when he mistook the man for a hog should not be indicted, a Maverick County grand jury has decided. The grand jury's no bill means Jaime Gonzalez will not be charged with manslaughter or criminally negligent homicide for the 2004 shooting near El Indio. Gonzalez, of Eagle Pass, had told authorities he was shooting at a wild hog about 150 feet away when Celestino Lopez was struck in the abdomen.

All my siblings are US citizens either by birth or by gaining citizenship and all live in the US. My father was born in the US.

I recently visisted a website which boasted a cool but strange idea. The idea that we are all citizens of theworld, and thereforcountry passports, visas, and borders should all be irrelevant. They provide a new birth cirt, marriage cert, and even a passport, all of which they boast has been used to enter and exit almost every country including all the countries in europe and even the US. They also boast world diplomatic imunity and other such idas. I am curious, how many of you guys have heard of this, how many have actually applied, and of those who have applied, how many have actually used it, and finally, how many of those who used it had problems with entering and exiting countries or showing it as a form of official ID. Please nbote, I am not asking if you think it is a good idea or a stupid idea, and I would appreiciate the opionions only of those who know about this, that is a nice way of saying dont bother answering just for points as I make full use of the abuse butto!n!

Do you remember the story of the "Camel in the Tent"?

In the Arabian desert a nomad set up his tent to settle in for the night. His camel approached the tent door and said,

"Master, it is cold outside. Might I just put my nose in for a minute to warm it?"

The kind master agreed.

A little while passed when the camel said, "Master, forgive me for bothering you, but my neck is chilled...may I enter the tent just a bit more to warm myself?"

The kind master said yes.

Not much more time passed when the camel said, "Master, my shoulders and chest are also now cold. May I come in just a little more to warm myself?"

Again, the master agreed.

Then, shortly thereafter the camel said, "Master....My standing in the door is letting a lot of cold air in...allow me to enter so that the tent door will fall shut and we will both be warm."

The Master told his camel...."that is reasonable....come in and allow the door to close."

Then, the camel having achieved his desired goal found the tent to

I'm learning German because I want to GO TO Germany.

So why do so many Mexicans, Central Americans, and South Americans coming here (legally and illegally) refuse to learn our language, and make us learn theirs?

If you disagree, then why are there about 500 students at my school that CANNOT speak english? I may not be perfect, but hey, this country was english speaking since the conception.
