The attackers attempted to hire them and when they did not accept to work for $6 dollars an hour they were brutally attacked while racial slurs were being yelled. The racist then attempted to run them over and other nearby spectators, they did accomplish to run someone over.

The racists were arrested and are being charged with a number of crimes, that include hate crimes, attempted murder just to name a few.

I will update this with a link as it becomes available. I just happened to be watching the news and they gave a short preview.

In mexico you have to have a work visa to get a bank account, house, cable, phone, job etc. A car dealership will get fined 6000 if it sells a car to an illegal. Mexico cant hire a non mexican unless no mexican wants it or qualifies. The united states can control its population so why doesnt it?

The aunt is still collecting social security money from the childrens deceased mother. 1. Who would pick the vegetables for $5 an Hour with no Medical Benefits or promotions?

2. Would Educated Americans leave their high paying jobs with Medical Benefits to do this job or all the other ones being done by Mexicans?

3. Americans fathers and fathers would you want your children out of high school to toil in these backbreaking jobs with no benefits or promotions?

4. You would say that Americans did this before the illegal immigrants arrived right? yes right, ok. Unfortunately we no longer live in the 1940's when employment by Americans was limited to such jobs which required no education or skill in those business sectors that were available at that time. Today most Americans are educated to an extent that those jobs that the illegals do are non existent for them. Technology took care of creating manny lucrative sectors for Americans to work in.

Visas for Africa, Pakistan, Mexico, Black Europeans are virtually non-existent. No wonder we feel we have to come in illegally.

There were 80 of us in a small boat fashioned for 3. We came across the Atlantic Ocean. Surely, I deserve the right to stay for my bravery.

soon i have this meeting in the embassy to get the visa to travel to the states. my bf's mother, she is writting the letter of invitation cuz my bf's family wants to meet me. Ok. but the problem is that we dont know if its better to just tell them im going to meet my bf's family (which is the true) but we're afraid they can rejected me (cuz they would think i'll try to stay or whatever) and ask me to go for a fiancee visa (any way it wouldnt be true cuz im in college and workin here and if i'd wanted to go that way, we would just marry) OR just go for the way that his mom wants and its to dont mention him in the letter but his sister which is my friend that i met by the internet and now her family wants to meet me and want me to visit them for christmas. But my bf said to me he would get angry if i get rejected bc of his mom letter idea and not bc i said the truth.

what you think it could be the best to do?

"Two men in a car are accused of deliberately hitting workers at a controversial Laguna Beach spot.....

Two day laborers were injured Sunday when they were hit by a car whose driver and passenger shouted racial epithets as they raced through a Laguna Canyon hiring site, Laguna Beach police said."

There are real economic issues but this sort of thing is much worse than what most of them are doing and is inexcusable.

I think we anti-s have to be clear that this sort of thing is NOT acceptable. The issues aren't racist, but it seems that some racists are jumping onto the bandwagon.

What do you think?

If they're not, do you think they should be? I do. Anybody who could be even slightly damaging, let alone having AIDS or something should not be let in. I suppose this doesn't stop the illegal immigrants spreading diseases too though. I'm not saying it's just them that would have diseases but as they except to come to our country I think the UK should test them first. Unclean? No entry!

Working as a U.S. citizen, de Jesus has taught English in the Mexican states of Jalisco, Hidalgo, Veracruz and Puebla as well as Mexico City, so his experience is substantial. Though it's something of a simplification, the crucial element he sees that Mexico has -- as far as foreign workers are concerned -- that this country lacks is simply this: a work visa that means something.

Some samples from de Jesus' experience in Mexico:

I need to open a bank account. "Your work visa, please."

I'd like to get a credit card. "Your work visa, please."

The telephone company won't cooperate in giving me a line. I'll just get a cellphone. "Your work visa, please."

They pose no threat to the U.S. In the other hand you should be afraid of those that get here legally paid by terrorist abroad and seek nothing more than to destroy the U.S. Ilegals come here in search for a better life and unlike terrorist they are here to take lives.
