Immigration - September 2006

I am currently in the active U.S army and have been for just 2 years now and I have come to known numerous illegals in the army. All of you who say otherwise either don't know or are pretending not to know. The army does what it can to fill slots. Just like there are rapists, thieves and yes homosexuals in the military there are also illegal immigrants as well. It's just a matter of tactfully covering things up.

A British man is being held without bail on charges of stockpiling weapons and building homemade explosive devices at his Trinity County home in anticipation of Armageddon.

Mark Sherman, 26, also is charged with living in the U.S. illegally. He has been living for more than two years with a woman and her mother in their mobile home in Weaverville, a mountain community 45 miles west of Redding in far northern California.

He and the woman, Crystal Hodges, had carried on an Internet correspondence for about a year before she invited him to California. He arrived from the United Kingdom in April 2004 and stayed on even after his visitor’s visa expired that July.

Like the mexican-american on Cristina this evening that says he relates to anglos (his term, not mine) more than latinos. He is 100% anti-illegal immigrant.

This question is for Americans only. Are you more worried about Mexicans crossing the border and taking low paying jobs, or about suicide Muslims coming to the country to learn how to drive a plane in Florida? I am more worried about the latter...

"A 400 foot-long tunnel dug 20 feet underground connected the two homes on opposite sides of the border. And the tunnel had some work put into it--there were lights and wooden support beams. It is large enough to walk through hunched over."

Just the thing for visiting Grandma.

"Though the tunnel's exact use is unknown, investigators are confident it was for illegal purposes."

You THINK?

both mexico and canada border the usa. but people froom canada can come here and be legeal. why is it different for mexicans? i am a true american born and raised here being both black and white. it is hard for me but it is harder for my mexican friends. we all came here illegally. or at least some one in our family did. what makes people believe we have a right here. Mexicans help us more than people know. they do the work americans refuse to do. but why are they illegeal when they help so much?

You know I was debating this issue with one of my best friends, who happens to be Mexican, and he said, it would not be an issue if the majority of the illegal immigrants were from Canada or any other caucasion based country. Do you think this is true?

and sexual relations with a 52 year old man. Muhammad was 52 and Aisha was 9 when they married and sexually consummated their marriage. Muhammad followed an Arab custom in marrying a child who had her first menstrual cycle. This action must be questioned, regardless of it being a cultural norm, because Muhammad's action and teachings on marriage established an Islamic precedent: a girl is judged an adult following her first menses, and is eligible for marriage and sexual relations. Thus Muslim men are allowed to marry and have intercourse with young girls who have happened to have an early first menstrual cycle. As will be shown, this leads to physical and psychological damage to the child.

Muhammad's first wife - Khadija, died a few years before he fled to Medina. Later, he was encouraged to take another wife. At the age of 49 he was betrothed to Aisha, age six. Aisha was his closest friend's, Abu Bakr's, daughter. At that time, she had already been betrothed to another man but by mutual consent the betrothal was dissolved. Three years later, following her first menstrual cycle, he then formally married and sexually consummated his marriage with her.

""Ideology and prejudice is part of the discussion. I'm convinced that the left challenges the law simply because it carries the marks of the [rightwing] justice minister. [But] there are good reasons to limit the free movement of people to protect the domestic labour market. And this has next to nothing to do with xenophobia," says Gees."

Switzerland is apparently putting to a vote a plan to limit immigration from outside of the EU to highly skilled workers. Moreover: "Switzerland will have harsher restrictions than the EU : if the law is approved by voters : because immigrants will only be given 12 months to bring any of their children 12 years of age and older into the country.

And anyone found in the country illegally will now face a maximum jail term of 24 months."
