I am currently in the active U.S army and have been for just 2 years now and I have come to known numerous illegals in the army. All of you who say otherwise either don't know or are pretending not to know. The army does what it can to fill slots. Just like there are rapists, thieves and yes homosexuals in the military there are also illegal immigrants as well. It's just a matter of tactfully covering things up.

While serving in the US military does grant you citizenship you need to be a legal resident to get in. Now there are circumstances which make things different outside of our boarders that can grant the same privilege to other nationals it does not apply to illegal immigrants INSIDE the US. This is mostly for combat theaters overseas. Like Filipinos in WW2 or Vietnamese during our Vietnam era.

Cuba is a special case though. For some reason they get special attention. Anyone here see those elderly Cubans receiving full Social Security benefits after only being in the US for like only 1 year? Never understood that myself.

This winter in Mexico, a Mexican man was brought home, KIA,and his family requested a full military funeral, so they sent a squad with the body, and they did as close to a military funeral as they could. The EL SOL in Puebla had pictues. His wife will receive military pension.

I was told Mexicans can enlist in our military by going to the Embassy in Mexico City, and passing the physical, and if they survive their enlistment, they earn residency.

I don't know if this is true, nor how to find out. It seems to be a closely guarded secret. I know in the 60's, foreigners were prohibited from combat duty, and our non-citizens had to fall out to the orderly room when we did a STRAC drill.

There were a number of Cuban refugees who enlisted and went to VN, and got purple hearts. Frank P. was called in by the INS and told he was to be deported because he had originally entered on a student visa and never changed status. When they found out he had served in VN, they let him get his citizenship immediately.

in case you could hire an unlawful immigrant and pay them a million/2 of lots as a typical American worker it incredibly is particular the have a minimum of a set minimum salary, then that's extremely obvious that unlawful immigrants do in fact take jobs from individuals. no longer each and every American is knowledgeable and can do exceedingly state-of-the-paintings initiatives. no longer everybody is as blessed as you to no longer could undergo an prolonged coaching and to with any luck meet their life aims, you look to have stumbled into it with no need to learn difficult. do no longer attempt to chat all the way down to those they might have had a valid clarification for no longer getting a appropriate coaching. As a libertarian myself, i'd evaluate the open border stance to be fairly ignorant. i do no longer completely believe libertarian perspectives and that's one that i'm no longer able to assist in any respect. Sorry.

It aint about covering anything, if you go get a DL it says that you have to sign up for selective service even if you are an illegal inmigrant, and if you are called you could qualify for citizenship

O i knew that,,....

Just try making these ignits understand...

They don't even know their true facts.. They just want to believe what they want to believe...

If they were truly passionate about this topic, you would think they would get their facts straight and not use this issue as an excuse towards hate on the Hispanic community...
