try Monster.com or grocery store chains (the big ones). I know that in California the grocery stores have suddenly started hiring teen agers, which I assume means at least some of them are worrying about their liability from hiring illegal immigrants. (That may sound presumptive, but the difference is night and day over the people they hired three months ago.)
If that is the case there as well, they may need workers.
However, in Florida I understand that the immigration is largely legal (Cubans) so the impact on labor there may not have been so big.
There are temporary nanny agencies as well, if that work appeals to you.

Congratulations!! It is a long and difficult process to have a green card. very costly too. I would sugjest go to the schoolss, the local library , put up small posters around with your expeirience of skills, and do take a training that takes just a few months to finish so your better prepared to find a job . please don't go to a job agency they are a big waste of time . Also try your church word travels very fast in church, Wish You the Best.
