Fact facts... This isn't about individuals demanding higher wages. It is standards supply/demand economics.
If there were a larger supply of citizens/PR's that were interested in doing the manual labor, the prices would drop. (Other factors being equal.)

Recently, large demonstrations have taken place across the country
protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of
illegal immigration. Certain people are angry that the U.S. might protect
its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once
here, to stay indefinitely. Let me see if I correctly understand the
thinking behind these protests.
Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in
your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds and
washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors; I've done all
the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for
when I broke into your house).
According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must add me
to your family's insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide other benefits
to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard work) because he too is
hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part. If you try to
call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket
your house carrying signs that proclaim my right to be there.
It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and
I'm just trying to better myself. I'm hard-working and honest, um, except
for well, you know.
And what a deal it is for me!! I live in your house, contributing only a
fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it
without being accused of selfishness, prejudice and being an
anti-housebreaker. Oh yeah, and I want you to learn my language so you can
communicate with me! English is too hard for me to learn. You should also
allow me to vote--in my own language, since I live in your house!
Why can't people see how ridiculous this is? Only in America....

I keep trying to tell everyone that they get paid very well for their work, I have never understood why everyone thinks they work for so cheap. I was a property manager and saw paystubs for getting into apartments and I made good money but alot of them made better. I live in the south where unions are almost forbidden and the pay here is crap so I get sick of hearing about cheap labor from the illegals, move to the south and you will see cheap labor.

Their demands are meaningless, they are criminals... they should be deported... with haste... and the border completely closed. They have NO RIGHTS... and certainly NO RIGHT to form UNIONS or any type of organization.... by forming organizations in a country other than theirs, they are committing an act of WAR... and should be treated as enemy.. which is what they are. ILLEGAL ALIENS are the ENEMY, CRIMINALS, DESERTERS.... that is all they can be legally...
Common everyday enemy criminals who are engaged in an ongoing criminal enterprise... and should be prosecuted under the RICO Statutes.....
ILLEGAL ALIENS..... GET OUT! and STAY OUT!
YOU are not needed, YOU are not wanted... YOU are criminals/slaves/terrorists/ and deserters... YOU can be nothing else... while in the USA illegally... YOU are non-persons, just crimnals... you can be counted, but, you do not count....
ILLEGAL ALIENS have but one right... the right to GET the HELL OUT of the USA... and STAY OUT.... just DAMN CRIMINALS.... and those who support their illegal activity and stealing are criminals too, and anti-American....
That means we sure have some sorry sh!ts in Congress...

no theyre not. they dont even get paid minimum wage since theyre ILLEGAL. dont type things just because you say theyre true, you just make yourself look stupid.
p.s. illegals dont get paid for more than minimum wage since they dont have any identification. and if you worked with illegals who want more money, then theyre not illegal cause they would get found out and deported.
