you will get a different opinions here since the ultimate decision is on the judge ... according to the experience there would be 50/50 depend on the case. most likely not but not really ... see immigration laws is also one of the complicated one, case per case.

The Judge is not going to offer her anything. She is here illegally and that makes her a criminal until she goes through the proper channels to apply for citizenship. The only thing a Judge might give her is a free ride back to her country until the time when she can enter the country legally.

How did she get the appointment? Is she asking for it, or did she get caught? If the latter, I think it's pretty certain to be deportation, though the judge might let her do it voluntarily so there isn't a 10 year ban.

We don't know enough about the situation.

If the judge does what she/he is supposed to do she/he will convict her. I am not sure of the punishment, but she will be turned over to INS and most likely be deported.

More than likely no she won't. Its different if you were a citizen, but a permanent resident doesn't really have much ammo when it comes to getting people here or having people stay here.

it all depends on the judge and hoe ling you are married and if you have US born children. if the husband was a us citizen then you are more likely to have the proceedings terminated

Sure.

Most judges are bleeding-heart liberals who uphold the rights of criminals and let illegals stay ... your illegal friend has nothing to worry about.
