I don't think the middle or upperclass Americans understand the situation because it's the americans that work on the poverty level that are getting screwed by this first......I'm thinking if anger builds it could cause major problems among the poor here in America.

Not so much the "illegal immigration", but I do for see major problems when the mass deportations start. The illegals and their sympathizers have already proven that they can and will be violent if they do not get their way. The illegals & Co. in my opinion have already declared war, (Maywood, total act of war)
On the flip side, many Americans (of all races and walks of life) will NOT stand idly by while our gov. decides to hand out amensty YET AGAIN. We were promised that when Regan did it that it would be the LAST time, NO more from that point on and that they would ENFORCE the immigration Laws and our Borders. These things have NOT happened, so yes the Citizens of this country is getting pretty ticked off, and rightly so.
And it will cause problems for the poor, but illegal immigration is already having a negative effect on the poor Americans.

I think its quite possible but the real problem is the men we have in high office. They are selling out the American people for a few votes. Our children and grandchildren will pay the price for this. Another ten years and this will be Mexico at the rate the illegals are coming across. They are draining this country in added taxes for taking care of them. Where do the taxes come from? Well out of the hard working American's paycheck. And, the wages will be down to nothing because the big corps hire the illegals for little or nothing.

The war has already started. More and more crimes are being committed by foreighners(illegals). Yes, we the working class are the ones getting screwed(as always) The rich could care less, and the politicians use this issue as a way to get votes. I don't beleive they really care either. So here we are having to fight ,just to keep our jobs. As long as illegals keep coming in and working for less than we are accustomed to earning, there's going to be tension. It's all about greed on the part of the employers. They are the ones to be held accountable. If I lived in a third world country and starving, and had the chance to sneak into another country and be able to provide for my family, I would. I don't blame the foreighners, I just think we should annex evertything that's attached to our country. There should be only one America. This would solve a lot of problems. Mexico could be our 51st state. Any govt. that cannot provide for it's people, should be abolished. Look at all of the outsoursing of jobs to mex. I'm thinking of moving down there and maybe getting my old job back.

I'm glad someone finally sees that they take away jobs from poor, under-educated, or teenage Americans. What it's really doing is causing the economy to buckle, and if it keeps going like this, collaspe. What these people that employ them are paying them is not going fully back into the American treasury. They keep some to live and survive and provide meager homes for themselves, and what ever is left usually goes back to relatives in their home country. Their relatives either use it to support themselves there or they use it to buy their way here. Either way, the money they spend goes to whoever gets it in there homeland and usually it's not an American enterprise of some sort. That money usually does not come back to the US and goes into that countries treasury.

With the numerous nationwide protests. Absolutely!
This may trigger a Civil War 2. Possibly Mexican vs. USA War 2. or worse, World War 3.
Can it be avoided. Absolutely! Separatism is not the solution; it is the problem at all levels.

You don't think middle-class Americans are aware of the problem ?

War ? Will it be conflict with Mexico... or a revolution within the United States ?

My taxes go up... my jobs have gone overseas, our schools go to pot because we have to educate illegals' children, I'll have no access to Social Security, and California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas will fall under Mexican rule again.

Sooner, rather than later. Just give some of those good old redneck boys a chance to go shoot some greasers and they'll do it. Once they start losing their jobs to the illegals, I wouldn't want to be one of them crossing the border......and I'm not too sure I'd want to be one hiding in the barrios in this country.

No buddy, White racists are just dying for some kind of "race" war. That's why they have all those guns, and are against gun control. It aint gonna happen buddy! The Feds won't let it happen. And most Mexicans are peaceful, and not at all what these xenophobics are making them out to be.

The division between rich and poor will be more evident in the coming years. Civil War? I hope not. Our governments need an overhaul, I do believe that. The voice of the American people must be heard and acted on and the voice of special interest groups and corporations need to be ignored.

I think they need to take more action. I think that illegal immigration is a HUGE problem and I would be happier about payin my taxes if this problem was resolved with or with out a war over it.
