It isn't Americans, it is white people. People are afraid of what they don't know. It has happened for thousands of years. It happened in South Africa up until about ten years ago, when it became illegal to hold other people down with the apartheid, though, life is still difficult there for the black Africans. Not all Americans hate African Americans. However, there are some that hate black people. I don't completely understand why they hate black people, but then, they hate everyone who isn't white and christian. I believe that they are scared of people who aren't like them. I think it makes them ignorant.
I am unsure of what this question has to do with immigration. I also think this question was not aimed in the way that some people are thinking. This person was not trying to be "racist" as some people have claimed. Don't you think that we can be more tolerant? It is just a simple question that asks why people hate other people.

Wow your very first question and this is it. Did you get banned for questions like this and had to start all over? Anyways I am an American. I don't dislike anyone but criminals.

Why keep adding to the fire? Race relations have nothing to do with the immigration issues. It's all in your head.
The race issue is a problem for all races. It is not americans. It is blacks that hate whites, hispanics that hate asians, whites that hate middle eastern etc. Not everybody hates.
