1. I would revamp the immigration quota system
2. I would NEVER pardon or give amnesty to illegals
3. I would stop ALL muslim and Muslim country immigration to this country, not for "racial" reasons, but because the mulim religious leadership has declared Jihad against the US more than 100 times since 1970! In additionally, I would not allow renewal of any muslim's permanent residency nor approve any muslim for citizenship!
4. Bar immigration from countries that will not allow extradition here, for whatever reason.

I wouldn't stop it. I would strictly enforce immigration laws and borders. I think the goverment is trying, but are just so late in the game that unfortunately took a 9-11 event to wake them up. My wife is a legal immigrant. This was an involved process that is stressful and costly, but being an American is not cheap. We pay our dues and I think all should do the same.

So in other words you want us to weigh how bad of a crisis we thank we are in with illegal immigration. I can't say that I would stop it all, only to keep the illegals out, because that isn't right. It would be easier to stop the existing illegal rather than all of it, becuase if you stop all of it (legal too), all you have is alot more illegal immigration to deal with. Because the people that are willing to come here legally, wouldn't be able to. I just say fix the damn illegal immigration problem that exists now, but not at the expense of the ones who want to immigrate the right way, legally.

No, we need some. Even though, if those here now are screened and stay, we will be overstraining schools and health care, there are still specific skills we need. And to the extent people don't stay, or as time goes on, we will need others as well. Our local born population IS declining, so far, and while we have growth in any event, that has been due to immigration.

I guess I'd want a pause while we figure out where we are, though, because things have spiraled out of control in the last decade or so.

I'd definitely stop all illegal immigration, though.

YES, completely.... legal for five years and then address it... illegal alien entry: forever and the border would be totally closed.... a 5 year prison term for those hiring illegal aliens and a $250 K fine to go along with it... second offense: 20 years, no parole...and loss of ALL material possessions.

In a heartbeat with the illegal, I hold no grudge to someone who comes into the country legally and pays their taxes like the rest of us do.

Illegal I would be willing to help stop.. If they are legal I have no problem with that.. I might even be willing to help them get legal if I could in a legal way and it not upset my life.
