if a person being working in the u.s for 20years and paying taxes .and was deported .to back to her country would she be able to received pension (social security) from the u.s. since she work and pay her taxes.or can her children benifit.

All they had to do is jump on aboat in order to get US citizenship. Is that "the legal process" you are so insistent about? Legal my as$. They never paid taxes, most spoke no English, but getting here made them legal RIGHT AWAY. Where is your MORAL right to even mention the word "legal"?!? I was dating this guy whos been in America for 6 yrs. He is 20 and he got married almost 2 yrs ago. Even tho he is married we still dated. Its only because the marriage was only for the green card, I been to his home, there is no evidence of a real marriage. Thats the only reason why I continued seeing him.

Anyway he had a court date on Tuesday. 3 things couldve happened, he woulda got his card which would have been the best outcome, the marrage helped a lil. He would have gone to jail for at most 2 months, due to him being undocumented for 2 yrs. lastly the worst outcome: he would have been deported.

I havent heard from him since the night before his court date. I call and call, a message comes on saying "this subscriber is unavailable. try your call again later" I figure if things turned out well he woulda been excited and called me to tell the goodnews. Instead i get these call back messages, or the phone rings continuously. What do you think happened? Should I give up?

Most of illegals not only speak excellent English, but pay taxes, . Are we given the chance to become citizens? Hell no.

never lived close to or worked with them. These people(liberals) will claim that they are fantastic workers and would all be great model citizens. I think it is dangerous to make opinions of things you don't know about. It seems that the ones opposed to illegas are politicians that came from blue collar backrounds that live by the border or grew up in illegal heavy areas. Whom should we be listening to? Who would you rather go on a quest to save an endangered species with Carman Diaz or a biologist with 20 years experience in field work? Why do some U.S citizens see themselves as better than others? Why is hunting down a group of people and deporting them to a land of poverty such a thrill for them? It used to be that this was a "land of opportunity". Bring us your poor huddled masses yearning to be free.

That has all changed now. Some Americans want to separate themselves from others. This is THEIR country and immigrants have no part in it. Save the arguments of 'legal immigration". When this country was founded that concept didn't even exist. It was just immigration.

All of a sudden, politicians want to deport millions of people or take away their jobs just because they are undocumented. Since when is it a crime to want to offer a better life to your children?

I get so mad when I see on the news, some racist minutemen "hunting" down illegals. You can tell that he enjoys bringing down a group of people. The African-Americans in minutemen should watch out. Hispanics are just their replacement in discrimination. You can be sure that if discriminating against African-Americans was still allowed the Minutemen wouldn't be hunting illegals, they'd be too busy discriminating against Blacks.

So who exactly are all of these "patriotic" Americans hunting undocumented immigrants? I guess the KKK limited their membership and this was the only way they could be racist right? I suppose hunting down an "inferior" race makes them remember their good old days when they could discriminate against other American citizens based on race.

Laws have changed that. So I guess the only group of people they can pick on now is undocumented workers, by disguising it as a means of protecting their country.

It's laughable. If migrant workers posed ANY threat to this country. They would be out of here so fast....

A 5-year-old girl is undergoing treatment for possible HIV infection
after the man charged with raping her -- an illegal alien who was
previously deported to Mexico -- admitted he has the virus,
authorities said.

The case has re-energized some state lawmakers to push for tougher penalties for people who commit sex crimes and knowingly expose their victims to HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.

Julio Cesar Cruz Martinez, 32, of Fairhope is being held in a
segregated unit at the Baldwin County Corrections Center on charges of first-degree rape, sexual abuse and sodomy, a jail official said Wednesday.

Police said Martinez has confessed to some of the acts involving the girl and to knowing he had HIV before the crime reportedly occurred Sept. 13.

"NATIONAL CITY – In response to Mayor Nick Inzunza's declaration that he wants National City to become a sanctuary for illegal immigrants, the city's police union stated that its members will continue to comply with state and federal law and not fall prey to the “political whims of a misinformed politician.”

My personal opinion: NO. They are here illegally. They should be given a one-day permit to drive across the the border, in a southerly
direction, to leave the USA (if their home of origin is in that direction) or a one way flight to their home country.
