I guess no terrorists ever got through that border huh? Or maybe they just don't care if blonde, blue-eyed people get into this country. Some threat mexican immigrants pose right? They want to come here to, get this WORK. It should be a felony to come to this country for that reason.

They want to give the terrorists a chance to come in. They are more worried about dark-skinned people.

Look folks, my wife is a doctor here in Texas. She comes home every night talking about how these illegal immigrants get hurt on the job, come into the ER, get FREE medical attention. Who do you think pays for all those doctor visits in the end???? YOU DO.... I am not a conservative, I'm a born and raised southern democrat. But I agree that we need to do something to tighten the southern border. It's not about there freedom or lack of ability to work hard. It's about our rising medical costs and welfare programs being abused.

As for Minutemen, Canadians are not illegally crossing the border and turning rabid and hostile toward their hosts.
Border security should be enforced on both borders.

According to the INS immigration census (1996) Canadians come in 4th when it comes to illegal immigration out of the top 20 nations. Granted things may have changed much since then. Also compared to the leader their 120,000 illegals doesn't get as many people riled up.

Because Canadians are not coming across the border, illegally, and en masse, costing the U.S. tax payers billions of dollars a year.

Canada is a much better place to live than Mexico. Canada has national healthcare, a middle class society, jobs, etc. People aren't risking their lives to leave Canada. Most Canadians that come to the US to visit actually return to Canada. The ones that stay usually do it legally.
I would guess that this is the reason there is not such an illegal immagration problem on the northern border.

There are some there, actually, but there are WAY fewer crossings. It is only in the south where there are such insufficient border patrol as opposed to illegal entrants that they can't even pick up all that they know about.

Maybe its the fact that the invaders that cross the southern border bring a disproportional amount of violence and drugs with them.not all the invaders that sneak in are honest people (wait a minute none of them are honest otherwise they would have crossed legally) many violent criminals are coming across like rapists, child molesters, prostitutes, drug dealers,ms13 gang members and the list goes on and on. please get a basic clue before posting such an ill thought out question. :)

Yeah, those damn Canadians are just flocking down in hoards! Pull everyone off the southern border and guard the north. NOW NOW NOW!

Good point. No known terrorists have crossed from Mexico; eleven known terrorists have come in from Canada. That being said, I think minutemen at any border is absurd.
