Oh yeah you can say my parents are legal immigrants. But keep tracing that family line. I guarantee you'll find an "illegal" along the way. Learn about your culture before you discriminate against YOUR people.

I think it is stupid for latinos to be anti-illegal immigrant, but i also feel it is stupid for anyone to be anti-illegal immigrant.

I think the latinos that are anti immigrant are the ones who have forgotten their roots and wish that "american" was an ethnicity.I mean I still don't see how many latinos can be anti immigrant considering that somewhere in their families either a far off cousin or aunt could be an illegal immigrant.And yet blindly they follow people who referr to them as "anchor babies".Makes me wonder if they were thrown across the border without any papers how many of their anti immigrant friends would believe them when they said "hey I might look latino but i'm really an american,my parents entered the legal way".my guess is their so called friends response would be "shut up beaner,no hablo espanol".They can lie to themselves all they want but in reality cannot change the color of their skin or the tinge of latino accent when they speak english no matter how much try and though not many will say it to their face many do call them "anchor babies","beaners" and "wetbacks" behind their back even before speaking to them and knowing if they are legal or not.sometimes ignorance isn't really bliss

The ones that followed the laws and paid attorneys fees to come here legally.
And stop trying to confuse anti-immigrant and anti-illegal immigrant. Those sentiments are not the same. We are anti illegal immigrant.
You can come here illegally if you want and work and do whatever, but people get pissed when illegals start demanding full constitutional rights and health care and education. If you come here and want to live under bridges and in streams and off highway exit ramps, no problem. But keep your mouth shut. That's the choice you made to do that.

It is unfortunate that legal immigrants and the desendants of many generations of Latinos here, are catching a lot of heat because of the illegals. They are ,very unfairly, being discriminated against.
I have met Latinos whose ancestors have been here for almost 400 years.

A that may be true but that still doesnt make it right, wrong is wrong, and I have traced my family back to the mid 1700's in scotland and they came here LEGALLY. How do I know? I have my grandmothers green card and their records from Ellis Island

the real American Latino's can say that. Not all Latio's are desendant of illegal criminals. Some Mexican's actually come here legally you know & are law abiding.

Law abiding people of all races and national backgrounds have the right to be anti-ILLEGAL-immigant. It has nothing to do with legal immigrants, nor does it have to do with what happened generations ago. It has to do with the current laws, and people who are currently breaking them.
It is strange that you are criticizing people who encourage others to uphold the law.

Those latinos who don't have any heart for there people. Instead of trying to kick there people they should be helping them. **** htey claim there parents or grandparents came here legally but the they are know as migrant workers.

I guess I shouldn't answer not being Latino, but illegals drag down schools, health care and wages. If they are here legally, they would absolutely HAVE to be racist NOT to have a problem with it.

How come you want illegal aliens to have the freedom to come here and destroy our country, but you don't want Americans (Latinos even) to have the freedom to feel and speak what they want?
