my brother in law is planning to go for a visit to canada where his wife works there for 2 years already, but the one who invite him was her wifes aunt. is there anything to worry about that? if he will not be granted could this situation affect her wifes pitition for them?

If his wife has applied for him to get a resttlement visa for canada to join her there then he might be better off waiting for that to be approved. The embassy may not grant him a visa if his application has not yet been approved. If he is allowed to visit then it would again be best to honour the visa so as not to jeopardise his wife's application on his behalf.

i don't see any problem just as long as its legal his petition is independent of his wife
