Already, 1 in 5 US doctors is foreign born, as are 2 in 5 medical scientists, 1 in 5 computer specialists, 1 in 6 people in engineering or science occupations, 1 in 4 astronomers, physicists, chemical, and material scientists, and 1 in 6 biological scientists, according to another Migration Policy Institute study.
Why are you never complaining that legal immigrants "steal jobs", but blame Pedro-the tomato -picker who doesn't even speak English and has no access whatsoever to a job an educated American can have?

America needs immigrants. That is why they have the Green Card Lottery. People complain about illegals because it is shoved down their throats that they steal jobs and draw down health care. Come on. Better budgeting is what fixes failing educational system. Not deporting illegals.

OMH! They do! It's not just adults they are stealing jobs from. Kids in high school look for the kind of jobs that the illegals are taking, because they are minimum wage and don't require them to work all day. For example: Fast food, delivery, cooks, custodial jobs, maid service. There's so many more! Illegals are taking these jobs because they don't have the balls to come here legally, learn English, go to school and get a degree, so that they can get good paying jobs. There intelligence grows as well. Have you ever met a legal immigrant that has done all these things? They are very intelligent. Have you ever met an illegal that works at McDonald's? They aren't very bright.

i imagine attempting to analyze those 2 and in no way upload others is a touch undesirable question i advise Carmelo has in reality been interior the NBA for 3 season to Paul's 10. we do not understand what Carmelo ought to have achieved if in a 9-10 year span he in no way wins a identify like Pierce. ought to he ask for a commerce? we he stay? We actual do no longer understand your comparing someone who has stuck with a team his finished occupation from the forged circumstances and undesirable circumstances. although i'm a Celtics fan i do no longer imagine Pierce is over-rated. He fought confusing in his occupation to win and had quite some injuries as well. Its uncommon those days to come across a participant which will follow one team this lengthy.

We have been letting in people who can be productive members of our society for years. How many of those "1 in 5" doctors are in US prisons for rape, robbery, and murder? There's a reason why we are selective about who we want here. We take the best and brightest, because they can contribute more to society than Pedro-the-tomato-picker spreading e-coli.

No one is going to complain about legal immigrants attaining the American dream. So your mixing apples and oranges. You're entire premise suggests American citizens who are foreign born bear a different status then American citizens born on this soil They are not different so no one complains. A citizen of the US is a citizen of the US no matter where they were born.
Once again, the issue isn't immigrants. The issue is illegal aliens.

People have problems with the skilled immigrants as well, but that is usually lobbied by trade unions competitive to the category. IT types, for example fight the H1B visas, and the desire to raise quotas.
There is supposed to be a finding that there is no one available (or that there are not enough people available) to do the jobs, though, which minimizes the problem. And the number of visas is much lower than the number of illegal immigrants, and we are the ones who control it. And because they make more money they pay more taxes and are on the subsidizing side rather than the subsidized side.
Oh yeah, and they didn't break our law.

This may be the easiest question I've answered in six months.
1. All of those in the statistics you prefaced with PAY TAXES on their earnings. They CONTRIBUTE to the system and help those legal citizens in need.
2. Those you listed in your statistics pay their own way--they have health insurance, they pay for their own health care, they have insurance, they pay into social security, they help carry the tax payer's burden.
3. Pedro-the-tomato-picker does NOT pay any income tax and often no sales tax when they buy food and foodstuffs from street vendors who also avoid taxes.
4. Pedro-the-tomato-picker has 11 children all of whom get free healthcare at the local emergency room every time little Maria Avilas Espinoso Rodriguez has a sniffle. Rather than go to the drugstore and buy medication like real Americans do, they pack up the family and clog up the emergence room so little Paco can be told to put a bandage on it. While real Americans who are bleeding, suffering migraines, nursing broken bones, get to wait in line behind 110 illegal Mexicans getting free health care.
My wife is an RN and EVERY single night when I take her to work I walk through the emergency room and I see a sea of Mexican faces all awaiting their "free" healthcare at the expense of the U.S. taxpayer. My wife talks with ER nurses every single night and they cannot stand it any longer. They have case after case of illegal Mexicans clogging up the system with petty, non-emergencies simply because they cannot be turned away. Meanwhile, our tax dollars, that should be going to helping real Americans gets wasted on this group of criminals who steal our money.
Any other simple points I can clear up for you dear?

Key word: ILLEGAL!! Is this really that hard to understand: People do not like it when you break the law. Do you lobby this hard for all criminals or just certain ones? Yes, I am fully aware of "this country is a nation of immigrants". But, your first act upon entering the country should not be an illegal one. Why is it so hard to understand that the average person doesn't care for criminals?
