The U.S. can pride itself on its ethnic diversity and its freedoms to all her citizens but is this the root of most of our problems? Is it possible to have too many freedoms? Should we start turning people back even though this is what makes our country so great and is what our forefathers wanted? Or is it time to change the rules a bit and say enough is enough, time to start caring for the people already here instead of the people who want to come here? What do you think?

Don't they realise there are many other forums they only have to click the links on whatever subject they want.
Illegal Aliens are a big problem, and even the immigrants of America are suffering because of them. If your not American, or a legal immigrant, you do not even belong in this debate. It is up to us to decide what shall be done with illegal aliens. Most immigrants do not support these criminals either, and they have earned the right to have a say so, by becoming legal immigrants.
Those legal immigrants that do support these criminals are at risk of losing their citizenship by demand of the American people. Aiding and harboring known criminals in America is a Felony, and a Felony can result in loss of citizenship for an immigrant. it seems some legal immigrants have forgotten about that law as well.

JERKS to HIDE behind stolen yahoo i.d.'s??? What COWARDS!!!!! they are probably ILLEGALS, OR Little punkass, pimple popping, PUNKS!!
A lot of the people on here who are AGAINST the CRIMINAL INVASION, eventually get IMPERSONATORS who pretend to be THEM!!! ( and since I am so POPULAR, I must be GETTING to them!!)) We, the ANTI-ILLEGAL crowd, have more CLASS than to do that!! PLUS,we are NOT INBRED, like THEY obviously are!!!!! So,we do not HAVE to STEAL someone's yahoo identity. WE will state OUR views, using our OWN i.d.'s!! If you don't LIKE it, you don't have to agree with it, just don't be a COWARD!!!

Where I live many illegals operate small scrap businesses, and trucking companies, and food services, and construction businesses. It is hard to tell which ones hire illegals, and which ones don't, before using their services ask for citizenship verification of every person that will be working on the job. You wouldn't want a criminal remodeling your kitchen would you?
It is not against the law to ask, and takes the guess work right out of play. When I walk into my local grocier, and the person behind the counter barely speaks English, I ask for a manager, take them to the side, and question the citizenship, I've even gone as far as insisting that a visa if there is one shown to me. It takes just a little effort on my part. If the police, and my government will not uphold my laws, I as a citizen am obligated to do so. Our police preach to us all of the time about reporting crime, and this appears to be the biggest crime in America. 20 Million Large

Why do people look down on immigrants? Do they not know that the core of the United State's economy is the work that immigrants do? Many small minded people say that it is because of illegal immigrants that our minimum wage had not changed, and they also blame them for the job's which they take away from legalized American's.
Well my response to these people is that the reason the majority of American's have a job is because of immigrant's...yes, it is true that immigration keep's the minimum wage from going up, but think about it people if there were no immigrants and the minimum wage did go up...how much would it cost companies? Wouldn't this mean less upper level positions to be able to fill the lower positions? So how much would companies lose? They would lose the college educated and experienced professionals which are eccential to the development of any company.
Not to mention, companies would also have to hike up prices on goods & services.-Would u be able 2 afford gas?

Dear Chief Squatting Dog,

We have a question for all the "Native" Americans out there. When you came across the Bering Strait during the Ice Age and you displaced all of those poor innocent deer and buffalo, did you take into account their feelings? When you killed the deer, how many deer mother were forced to grieve their lost children? When you wore the skin of buffalo, how many were traumatized by the sight of seeing their brothers displayed like trophies on the bodies of their slayers?

The deer and buffalo have spoken! We want reparations! We demand our land back and 50 million salt licks!

The Europeans have killed and displaced us too but at least they weren't sanctimonious and whiny about being 'here first'. You weren't here first, we were!

They confined us to reservations too (wildlife refuges), but you don't here us yelping about it.

BTW, What's the difference between beer nuts and deer nuts?

Beer nuts are $1.79 for a bag, deer nuts are two for under a buck!

I live in Texas, and we barely survive. Many people move for work, and if there is enough hours to make a descent check, at minimum wage, I'll move my family. Especially if my children of working ages kind find jobs as well.

My question is to those of you who's parents came from Mexico illegaly. Where do you stand on the immigration topic?
My father came to the US illegaly while he was still in his teens. He knew that if he stayed in Mexico working on his fathers farm for the rest of his life that he would never make enough money to live the life he always dreamed of. 30 years have passed and he's been working his *** off since then. He's made his way to the top of his company and is very successful. I'm proud of my father and the life he has made for himself and his family. It took him a while but he is now a US citizen. Because of the struggles my father went through (coming here illegaly, not knowing anyone or the language) I have respect and sympathy for those who are going through it now. I may not agree with some of the things illegals do, but if it weren't for my father doing what he did, I wouldn't be here today. If it were ME in MY fathers shoes 30 yrs ago, I'd do the same he did. Wouldn't you?

I know allot of people that would take them. Americans.
Before you call me racist, my husband is half Mexican, but he is also a third generation born American. He has been forced to work for low wages almost all of his life because of the fact that he looks full blooded Mexican. Many illegals become aggresive toward him because he doesn't speak any spanish, which if you want to be politically correct is Mexican Spanish, just like American English. If there were not so many American laborers out of work the illegal alien issue might have been able to slip under the fence. However, too many are committing other crimes besides crossing our borders, and sadly, those also the ones that thought it was fitting to wave a Mexican Flag on American soil in Protest of American Laws. As broadcast on channel 34Fox News the illegals have also brought back into our country diseases that we had pretty much rid the country of. Illegals are criminals by choice, just like the American gangs.
