I understand that when people come here illegaly they are braking the law. Does that make them automatically criminals? if that's the case then MOST of us are ALSO criminal because at one point or the other we have broken the law, like speeding ticket, driving without a lisence or insurance or even something small like a parking ticket, I believe that the term criminal should not apply to that, by the way I am not saying that it isn't wrong to come here illegaly, I know it's wrong I just don't think they should be called criminal, that's all.

I guess I was delete by a report on me.
Hello
I am a Minuteman. We are a group trying to help many which started with a few and has now grown very well and is still growing. We try to hurt no one. And yes we are shot at often by Drug Lords. And we are of all races since someone asked. Many from Hispanic origins.
Many answered I had over 30 before I was deleted. Not a question was the reason.
So my questions are how are we harming you? What laws do we break? And do you think we have a purpose?

So, they can shoot American citizens, but, not invaders crossing the border illegally? Even if some of those illegal aliens have weapons?

Racism is third world thinking, and out dated in America. Racism belongs in America as much as Illegals do, and that is why we have laws against both.
Sadly, the only people I screaming racism are people who have no other excuse for what they know is wrong.
I seem to have to ask this question every time I come in this forum to ask questions on an important issue. Why do people have to be reminded how to communicate without critism.
Besides all of the name calling is just to keep people who want real answers from getting them.

I mean it is ridiculous how many times I see the word crime when it comes to illegal inmigration. Inmigration laws are demographic laws, Criminal laws are the ones againts someones integrity like steal, murder, rape or something like that. It is stupid compare someone that cross the border illegal to a murderer. Break an inmigration law is like breaking a traffic law (like a speeding ticket or a DUI), they dont give you jail if you get caught they just deport you. If it will be a criminal act they would put you in jail, but it is not a criminal act.

Essentially, most citizens of the United States are or have been immigrants in the last 200 years or so. These people left countries which oppressed them on religious, social or economic grounds to find a better life elsewhere. So why is it these people who now refuse this freedom to others.

I have heard more and more comments about Mexican illegal immigrants using a guide called a "coyote" to help them cross into the US. They say "How can an illegal afford $2000 to come into the US, yet the reason they are coming is because they are poor?" Where here is the answer. They have a friend or family member in the US wire the money to them in Mexico, they then pay the coyote and come, work, and pay the person back. Why am I telling you this? Because I am tired of hearing it! They ARE poor in most places in Mexico and live at a poverty level much worse than our own ghettos. If you went to central or south Mexico (not acapulco) and met them you would see that it IS bad, it is not uncommon for people to have no bathrooms, no running water, no cars, no food unless they grow/raise it themselves. Things are changing now that they are sending money home. So my question is: Why be so upset that immigrants are helping others, even if they are not from the US?

I as an American am out to protect my people, and the true immigrants of our country.
They must be protected from illegals trying to use them as a cover for the crimes they knowingly, willingly commit.
American Immigrants endure the process, show respect for our laws, and our people. Illegals are nothing more than bottom feeders who believe they deserve more than the legal immigrants who only leave their home nations to find work, and feed their starving family's. Illegals steal immigrants identities, and American identities to find work, not caring that they are stealing another person's Rights, and Livelihoods, and destroying that person's family. This cruelity by the illegals has forced Americans, and immigrants alike to begin to defend themselves. The pity train for illegals has left the station, and they should have been on it.

What I notice is that many American users could be mean, disrespectful but when someone disagrees with they're point of view they get mad. Why can't they respect the fact that others don't think like them. If everyone thought alike it this country would be way different. Respect others points of view. Don’t answer with stupidity. Everyone should have the chance to express themselves any way they want. If you guys would stop fighting over noncense that in the end none matters and focus on more important issuesmaybe this issue could get solved. Lets all focus on the lies we live under the rules of our government and maybe we will all be happy. its worth it, to fight about something that in the end the government will decide, the senate, congress etc.

Whenever the "immigration" issue comes up at work, there is always this one guy saying "but it's not that easy to become a citizen" . Is that true? What does it really take to not be an illegal immigrant?

The mexicans are being deported and banned from the U.S.A because they are illegale and have no "real identity" to work with. These people have been here for a long time, its not like their terrorists or anything, all they want to do is work so that they can better themselves and their families, just like us.What do you think of that???

In what ways?

According to a Drug Enforcement Agency report in the aftermath of the North American Free Trade Agreement, which further opened U.S. borders to cargo traffic, federal officials estimated that most cocaine coming into the U.S. entered through official ports of entry, occasionally with the collusion of corrupt customs agents.

What will happen to all the drug dealers and corrupt customs officials? Will they just go away?

Tell me why it is that America bends over backwards for foreigners? When I lived in Germany, I had to learn to speak german and had to understand many of the customs. The same for France. The French will not desicrate their culture or language for anyone. Why do the american people do this. If you are going to come to this country then learn the language and the customs. That means speak english and Christianity is what we believe in. But do not come here expecting me to bend over backwards to accomidate you in my own country.

They want to scapegoat immigrants for systematic social, economic and political problems that are not caused by immigrants. I think that we should aggressively be out there confronting them and denouncing them and exposing who is funding them.

The lawyers’ groups are filing lawsuits and sending out legal monitors to watch the Minutemen.

There’s a legislative strategy team that aims to educate state officials about the danger the militias pose, and why vigilanteism shouldn’t be tolerated.

But what else can be done as abolitionists to end this racism?

We can call it a future without welfare, medical, WIC, public education, and tolerance for "illegal aliens".
Make it more beneficial for them to try the legal approach or just stay "HOME".
