I as an American am out to protect my people, and the true immigrants of our country.
They must be protected from illegals trying to use them as a cover for the crimes they knowingly, willingly commit.
American Immigrants endure the process, show respect for our laws, and our people. Illegals are nothing more than bottom feeders who believe they deserve more than the legal immigrants who only leave their home nations to find work, and feed their starving family's. Illegals steal immigrants identities, and American identities to find work, not caring that they are stealing another person's Rights, and Livelihoods, and destroying that person's family. This cruelity by the illegals has forced Americans, and immigrants alike to begin to defend themselves. The pity train for illegals has left the station, and they should have been on it.

It took us over a year and $ 1000.00 to get her the visa
We have jumped through all the government hoops
And now to see Congress talking amnesty
It is a slap in the face to every American - Immigrant and otherwise

You're very angry. I can understand because you do have a claim. However, let us not be mistaken about the legal immigrants who live in this country peacefully like every peaceful American Citizen; each of the legal immigrants is protected by the American Laws as well as American Citizens, except for a few exceptions such as they cannot vote, occupy some governmental jobs, have certain percentage shares of business on specific industries, etc...
As a melting pot society, a culture made of foreigners because all of us have roots elsewhere in the world, whenever we have a legal immigrant here it is like reaching in the far past and getting in touch with a family member.
It's not that we hate illegal immigrants; it's that they break the law, and that the authorities have to say something about it. This country is ours because we claim right to it. If you take something that was not yours three hundred days from today, will today make it yours? I am not saying that America is not ours because social regulations and laws we enact make her ours. However, we must remember that one day we made claim to this land, and if Providence protects us, why shouldn't we protect those who don't break our laws?

I agree with you 100%! LEGAL Immigrants should be protected because they are Americans. ILLEGALS should be deported ASAP. This country needs to get back to its 'Melting Pot' ways. It's become too much of a Heritage Stew. So many people not wanting to be assimilated into American culture. (or learn to speak English for that matter)

I agree with you. My husband is currently going through the LEGAL immigration process, and it is very time-consuming, but he chose to come to the United States & make a life for himself here, and it makes me angry that other immigrants are sneaking here illegally, taking the benefits of American life for themselves while other hard-working & HONEST people like my husband are going through the process with Immigration & Naturalization services to live here, filling out endless amounts of paperwork & going on interviews while so many are dishonest & expect a free ride into this country.

If people come to this country legally and with the intent to become an American citizen, if they pay taxes and are law abiding, yes - absolutely.

have nothing nice to say to someone like you. legal immigrants have at least gone through the legal aves they were supposed to. that like asking do stupid people have the rights to leech off the natural resources of our delicate planet? genocide is illegal and stupidity should be too!
