I understand that when people come here illegaly they are braking the law. Does that make them automatically criminals? if that's the case then MOST of us are ALSO criminal because at one point or the other we have broken the law, like speeding ticket, driving without a lisence or insurance or even something small like a parking ticket, I believe that the term criminal should not apply to that, by the way I am not saying that it isn't wrong to come here illegaly, I know it's wrong I just don't think they should be called criminal, that's all.

Yes
And most of us are "not" law breakers. You need to get away from the people you know if that is all you see.

Yes, they are criminals.
Yes a lot of us are criminals also. Like a speeding ticket, driving withou a license, you pay you fine, and you are no longer a criminal. In other words, you get a chance to make the problem right. If you have a tail light out, you get a ticket, at which point you are a criminal, you get a chance to fix the light, pay a small administrative fee, and magically, you are a criminal no more. the Illegal immigrants will probably get a chance to leave, then come back legally. It's only fair. We are a nation of laws. It is only logical that with so many laws, a person is bound to break one at some point. And, not all of our laws are imposed by the government. We have neighbors that impose laws on neighbors, such as Home owners associations and their by-laws. If you don't abide, you are considered a criminal by your neighbors. think about that.

You may not think that those that come into this country should be called "criminal" - but that doesn't make their actions less criminal or any less breaking the federal and state laws of the United States.

Conditions within their home countries is what needs to be addressed vs the meeting the desire of business that is looking to pay cheap labor and cut out any benefits - which is becoming more and more a reality within the United States because of illegal immigration.

When it comes to illegal immigration, we are not talking about those that have a degree are not going to be a drain on the citizens of this country by getting on public assistance programs, sucking out more resources than they put in.

The use of the criminal law by the group in power to prohibit the behaviour of another group may be considered an improper limitation of the second group's freedom.

Therefore, not criminal.

Yes they are criminals, when you were pulled over for speeding did you ever get out of it? Illegals are breaking federal law, there is a big difference in what you are trying to tie together.

Absolutely. It is sorta like trespassing on someone elses property. I believe that a criminal is someone who repeatedly breaks the law, and i think trespassing would fit under that catagory.

Yes it does make you a criminal. Why do I say this because in your question you said illegally which means not legal. You have answered this question yourself.

Entering the country through anything except a legal port of entry is definitely illegal. And, unless the person takes steps to become a citizen, they will continue to be illegal. Illegal immigrants ARE taking American jobs....and they ARE collecting benefits such as welfare. Also, there are unscrupulous people who take advantage of them.
