There is a huge differences between the struggles of what black people went through and what Mexican people are going through now. Mexicans didn't have to endure the hardships that black Americans did to earn the rights and respect they deserve. I think everyone should stay off the race card when in comes to immigration anyway, It's about illegal immigrants, not a particular race.

a lot of Americans are upset that the country is getting invaded, the price of everything has gone up except the wages, excuse me didn't some politician get an 18% raise the other day. Whites were never threatened by blacks because we do not own corporations, land or ect., you should be upset with the black leadership, the churches, BET, the rap music, which has done a great disservice to me and you. The democratic party keeps us feeding into the welfare mentality, open your mind

There is a long history of Latinos helping escaped slaves and also you should know about the leadership roles that Blacks played in the Mexican revolution...

Knowing your past would be a huge step forward for Black/Brown unity, and a major blow to the racism coming from bigots who have attacked (as you say) Blacks in the same racist fashion that they now do Mexicans (Latinos).

The May 1 march was incredibly multiracial, and showed the world and the racists that we can build across cultural, religious and ethnic lines and that together we are a force to be reckoned with.

Asian, Latin, Black, and white! To fight racism, we must unite!

If you are black then you are an idiot. How can you compare the two races. That's like comparing 9/11 to world war 1 and 2. How many mexicans were dragged from their country in chains, beaten, enslaved, killed at will, used as political pawn by every president, and still treated as a second class citizens.

Here is what is really interesting.

These anti-immigrant fools are under the ASSumption that Mexican's are the only documented or undocumented immigrants in this country.

Although they make up the single largest percentage of undocumented immigrants in this country, they are not the only. Not even 50% of undocumented immigrants are Mexican. Although very close I may add.

As for whites feeling threatened by Mexicans you choose to refer to as 'new black', I must say if your claim is true, then white people are a fear infested group, aren't they?!

In the Midwest Mexicans assimilate as do all aliens who come this far from the border. Have no personal knowledge of border states but can state categorically that Mexicans in the Midwest comprise all income levels, levels of education, and live in all communities from poorest to richest. Hardly a threat any more than the Irish or Germans. Here they have assimilated, learned language and culture, and work at all levels.

No Way! I don't have a problem with blacks. They didn't sneak over here and take things that don't belong to them. Besides, I know black folks who are against illegals just as much as I am. Did you see that guy....I can't remember his name but he is with the Minutemen and he wears an American flag around him when they protest. He has been on CNN before. I'm sorry that I can't remember his name but he feels the way that I do.

Actually, yes I have read that from their social leaders, and they compare their fight to the civil rights movement, which has upset the black population because you can do that - they are not citizens. I have seen many a call to arms to kill Americans.

I should point out that not only are the calling themselves black people, but are stating they are Native American Indians to gain benefits.

Remenber in 1930s and 1940s the sign no color people allowed in most comercial places ??? if a black person would enter those places that was consider illegal and they called the police right away, it was considered a crime.
