Government - September 2007

I'm not talking about forcing people to give up their personal beliefs.

I'm talking about banning religion out of politics and public life. Like no politicians saying "God bless America" to get votes, no swearing on the Bible in court etc.

Your thoughts please.

I heard that, in a few short years, clean drinkable water will be the most valuable product in the world. I watched a film about the severe lack of clean water in India, and it does look like a very serious situation. With the glaciers melting into the ocean, it seems such a waste of good water! Can anything be done?

So the Michigan Government is to be shut down as of October 1 unless they can come to a conclusion on what to do about our insane debt before then. Does anyone know what will happen if this happens. Will there be no police, will there still be school?

Congress has certain powers over certain things(laws, declaring war, regulation of commerce, etc.). But, what do they have to do with "the Jena 6," stem cell research, and even end-of-life drugs, usually cancer patients will use when they know for sure they are going to die?

Hi, for homework i have to create a school constitution:

1. Who makes the rules? {what grade makes the rules}.

2. How are the rules made?{what is the system of making them}.

3.How are rules enforced? {how do you go by them}.

4. What rights will always be protected? {even if the person/people in power want to make rules that take away those rights}.

I think he is a tyrann. And an uneducated idiot. For saying stupid things like whiping Israel off the map. Or the Holocaust never happen? Or questioning the September 9/11 attack on our soil. I think we are having troubles our way. What do you think?
