Pay commissions in India are instituted every 10 years or so and they take more than 3 years to come out with recommendations. The whole process takes 10+3 = 13 years.
This is too large a time span and the economic circumstances in the country undergo drastic changes over such large time span. Consequently, for 6-7 years out of the 10+3 years of the life of pay commission process after every pay commission, Government Salaries and emoluments lag the market and the gap keeps increasing.

We now live in en era where companies draw quarterly balace sheets and profit and loss statements. Letters and fax messages are relics of the past and sms and e-mails share the load of bulk of the communication. Video conferencings are the in thing.
In such environment, 3 years for a report is too much. How about speeding up the things ?

Any early indications as to what the report is likely to recommend ?

A hint:

There are numerous videos, television interviews, news reports and written materials including history books, wikipedia references, speeches and quotes incorrectly stating our government is a '_________'. What is the proper term for the form of government we have in the U.S.?

Another clue: Recite the pledge of allegiance to remind yourself of the correct term.

Once you realize the numerous deliberate attempts to thwart truth, to skew reality, and place unreal definitions in the mainstream media and history books about our true form of governance... what do you think is behind the misguided rhetoric?

All these one world government phrophesies sound plausabe exept for one thing which puzzles me.

These illuminate members are all rich and powerfull and usually have big egos. How can these greedy people avoid fighting and betraying each other long enough to agree on anything , let alone a comprehensive world domination plan.

Considering that the Federal Reserve is privately owned and operated for a profit and the dollar is not backed by gold - do you think the Federal Reserve should be abolished and the government should print the currency? Perhaps also, once again back the dollar with gold? Why or why not?

Rio, Kelly B and Bush isn't a Conservative just to name a few that I know of. These users are civil and respectful to everyone. Protesters are being arrested on the street and banned from "websites" now.

Has the constitution of the US really become just a piece of paper?

The last three conservative presidents have run up 70% of the national debt (two Bush's and a Reagan).

"Fiscal conservatism is a political phrase term used in the United States to attack government spending and advocate instead lower spending and a lower federal debt..." (source: wiki)

Is the city going broke? Didn't they just build a stadium? I heard they are cutting benefits to it's employees and retirees drastically? Is there any truth to the fall of the posts that the new stadium is forcing the city to cut retiree's benefits? Uh-oh....Should I move here? Housing is cheap but without cops or firemen who cares? My friend, who I am visiting, is moving to Frisco but the houses are expensive there.

IMO, all these perves on both sides of the aisle are destroying this nation. They are too busy leading double lives and working for special interests who have blackmailed them to protect their secrets to actually be servants of the people. they are servants to the almighty dollar as well as secretive gay sex. How are we gonna get these creeps out of our governement????

All the border between us is doing now is protecting their country from being flooded with our people, culture, and institutions. Sure, we'll probably end up with the kind of Senators that Alaska and Idaho keep sending us, but we've survived that. We can handle another six or seven new states from south of the Rio Grande. None of this penny-ante Rhode Island or Delaware nonsense, though.

Often times, people ask questions regarding the division of Americans because of this, that and the other.

Are we really at a stalemate because of political differences or are those differences acting as a checks and balance system, preventing one party from too much control?
