Given the actions of the British, widespread revolutionary propaganda and the words of Thomas Paine, why would so many colonists still not be willing to call for a new and independent nation? Give at least three reasons and list supporting examples.

Honeslty, i start the the premise of this argument. You can argue the case of Iraq's hands being tied to terror, more directly 911 and surely you can make the case that we shouldn't have gone into Iraq.

However............regardless the war has become a battleground of different sorts. In Vietnam it was an isolated view, we feared the success of communism, and when we went in Russia and other communist factions didn't make it a battleground against the USA/Freedom.

In Iraq however, every wave of anti-sentiment, every resource of Al Queada and others have made this the cover of their agenda. They will forever use this as a defeat to our country if we fail. Furthermore, it isin't the same war, we knew it was too big of a risk to have Hussein in charge, he utlimately hated the USA over the previous Gulf War and would trade with terrorists if it meant harm/financial gain to himself. WAKE up people.

Do not* try and compare these wars, why is it you do?

Al Quiada is now in Iraq where it was not operating when Sadam was in command -

Iran looms over the world as a possible nuclear power -

Russia and China seem bent on preventing sanctions against Iran using security veto's to nulify US requests or water them down significantly

The US is still in Iraq -

The war and or ocupation of Iraq is costing a huge sum of money some say 400 million per day others say less than that - but nonetheless - a hell of a lot of cash

The real estate market in the US is facing a melt down and effecting all levels of the US economy

The US dollar is at an all time low

There are now a few billion dollars in "put" options gambleing that the stock market will crash on or before Sept 21st of this year

On the up swing - there hasn't been one attack in the US since 9/11 2001 - but 6 years after the fact -

Are you safer now than you were 6 years ago ?

The creation of a nanny state by banning smoking in bars - the public didn't want it the bussiness's begged him not to But in an anti democratic move he misuded his majority and pushed through a law no one wanted but a small group of lobbyists - Hope he was well paid for that one

In absolute hypocrasy he allows smoking in doors at a Provincally run Casino by the US border He gives himself a raise of 40,000 per year and then expects to be patted on the back for giving the working poor a raise of 40 dollars a month - (Can you say fat cat elitist ?) There was an armed group of persons in Caledon - Armed - persons who happened to be Native's took over roads and infrastructure by force - The Premier abandoned his duty and his people - and negotiated with terrorists - The message to all those hard working law abiding citezen's of Ontatio? I was really shocked this summer to find that our grocery stores market imported fruits and vegetables and no longer seem to support our local farmers.

A case of strawberries grown locally was going for $3.99 while imported strawberries from 1,000 miles away--rotten as they were--were selling for $1.49 for almost twice as much.

It's clear too these inferior strawberries were genetically engineering and they were moldy and rotting, as is most of the fruits and veggies in these "no name" stores. Even in the the overpriced "S" chains the fruit is imported, not even close to ripe.

Whatever happened to these big chains supported our local FARMERS?

This is unnacceptable. I went up to the produce manager and complained and I am informing other people about it too, because we should not be supporting these chains who have no concern for us or our wellbeing only making a buck and supporting interests of the countries they are owned by.

Do you agree we should buy from locals?
