Obama does not have an Iraq approach. What we are seeing is the winding down of the conflict there. For all sensible applications the conflict has been gained. evaluate the form of bombings each month and you will see a gradual decline in the course of the final 3 years. BTW: undergo in ideas Reids favorite quote: "The conflict is misplaced."? only is going to teach you the way little the Democrats understand military affairs. The "new" strategy is exactly the same as the old strategy. The initial strategy was to kill everyone who opposed the U.S. occupation of Iraq. The "new" strategy came into effect as a result of the fact that virtually all Iraqis opposed the U.S. occupation of Iraq meaning that a "surge" in troops was needed to do a lot more killing than initially had been expected.

You forgot to mention that Shia leader, Muqtada al Sadar has suspended his operations against US forces. So that US forces can fight off Al Queda. Many Sunni groups also oppose Al Queda.

But the USA must have a clear time table for withdrawl. They cannot stay there in the long run.

And the time table for withdrawl should be done in a planned and a consistent manner.

After all that had happened, Bush and his cronies just proved himself to be poor leaders.
