as the United Nations is American soil we must allow access to all World Leaders, or else the UN would not work that well (I know debatable point as to whether it works anyway). World leaders from non-friendly countries (Iran, North Korea, Venezuela etc...) Are issued Visas that only allow them to be within a 25 mile radius of the UN. Unfortunately Columbia University falls in that radius.

As for the poster that said Iran would start bombing our troops in Iraq...that started a long time ago my friend.

Yes.
But the Democrats passed a law against the CIA or any Government Agency assassinating an Enemy.

Democrats got mad during the 70's, when the CIA assassinated a Mass Murdering Marxist in Central or South America.
So....they put a stop to it.

(Democrats love their Marxists, Socialists, and Communists, no matter how many people they slaughter.)
They called Stalin: "Uncle Joe".
Check out your history books.

But they didn't mind when JFK had the President of South Vietnam Murdered.

Democrats "blow" in the wind.

Because of international law and that he is a foreign diplomat addressing the United Nations, which, according to my map, is in New York City.

Otherwise, Bush could have been assassinated any number of times he's stepped off U.S. territory. The above mentioned international law keeps behavior far more civil than without.

it is partly because of our generosity
partly because he was invited by Columbia University...
In any case he's here. ...time for diplomacy in hopes of eventual improvement

I cannot say I am entirely comfortable with the idea... but we should probably make a go of it as Jesus said if you treat your enemy with kindness you will be like pouring heaps of hot coal on his head... I assume from making him feel the weight of his inappropriate statements

That would have been real smart. Let's see... he gets assasinated, Iran bombs our soldiers in Iraq and a whole world war begins.

Good idea. Thank God you aren't President.

I would venture a guess that it was for the UN gathering and he's a world leader, so he was invited because of that...?

The UN meets in New York City, which is in our country.

thats the true spirit of America. Assassinate someone you don't like. no wait, thats the true spirit of a dictatorship and against everything America stands for. too bad you don't realize this.

To answer you're question thought he could come here because he was asked by the UN which is in NY,.

If you could kill everyone you disagree with, eventually you are all alone.

It is far better to convince your opponent that yours is the right position.
