AL Qaeda isn't really that special. All societies develop militant factions. In my life time Rep, and Demo have both become more and more extreme. With out a external focus all societies become self destructive.

I am thinking its time to disband both demo, and repub.

In high school, and in college in the early '80's, the definition was different then than it seems to be now. The definition then was: Fascism is an economic system that allows private ownership of property, but the government controls all use of that property. I was also taught that fascism was only viable under two forms of government, a socialist government(Nazi Germany under Hitler) and dictatorships (Iraq under Saddam). These were two of the examples that I was taught.
I am not sure I understand "todays" definition, which seems to be conservatism.

The questions are always about who has a better plan. Dems or Repub's. What I'm asking here, is do you think it is the government's place to provide/pay for people's health care? Why? or Why not?

the masonic order is bankrupt with trillions of dollars worth of bonds need to be repaid due to the waste of money on killing people in iraq and afghanistan, maintaining the gitmo nazi concentartion camps, and spending on new weaponry (of course others cant have nukilar weapons to ensure they couldnt defend themselves for the new invasions to come). After all this, can the masonic order afford a universal healthcare system? it is widely recognized that the order of death and destruction is completely broke.

Isn't being an American about more than simply being born here?
" If we who have the time and money to take to the streets don't do so,
then the people are going to think that everything is OK."
Peruvian university student protesting Alberto Fujimori's illegal election victory, April 2000
It is surprising to me that in such a militant and belligerent nation, the people are generally not so. But it is more surprising to me that people aren’t militant when it comes to a government so removed from the will of all but the monied few.
When the gov't effectively ignores petition for redress, as the bureacracy and electors ensure, how do the people peacefully revolt against what they are told is their duty to support? How do they peacefully reject their nationalist, pro-business, militarist oligarchy except by general strike?
