They probably think they will just tell them they are sorry and that they want peace and give them warm fuzzies and that the terrorists will magical transform into nice guys who will love western liberalism.
Like that is ever going to happen.
The liberals are deluded and they have no plan.

Fascism is the melding of business and government. Which Muslims are doing that?
Granted that Islamic fundamentalists are as bonky and unreasonable as a wooden watch, or a fundamentalist of any other religion but where does fascism come into it? I keep seeing the term applied wrongly, out of ignorance I suppose. The Bilderberg Group are the most active fascists these days with their global economic/government plans. In general Liberals tend to oppose such totalitarian schemes.

Thank God you aren't a representative of Western society because if you are no one would need to do anything, a society that'd ask such questions is already destroyed. Just look into how Saddam got his power in Iraq, and which nation has lost about a million people over the last three years in order to realize who are the fascists!

The flaw in your thesis is the actual existence of these mythical 'liberals'. The 'liberal', as defined by the reactionaries that post these kind of questions is a propaganda construct....a strawman that can be attacked and knocked down at will. As this 'constructed' internal enemy doesn't exist it's not likely that it has a plan, so the entire question is invalid. I suspect you believe that someone will rise to the defense of this propaganda phantom created by some right wing think tank...their version of Emmanual Goldstein......it's pitiful that you believe that millions of your fellow citizens are america-hating, Saddam loving, surrender monkeys. Why would you want to do that?

I am constantly amazed that in the ongoing debate over the Iraq War the central question that ought to drive our decision is seldom considered. We focus on the difficulties in staying the course and achieving the mission, but rarely discuss the consequences of abandoning it. This is sheer insanity.
Sadly, Democrats have boxed themselves into a defeat scenario, having placed every single one of their eggs in that basket since before the 2006 elections.
If they suddenly begin supporting the war effort they'll be wiping those eggs on their faces and admitting the error and unfairness of their ongoing criticisms of President Bush. They will also be placing themselves in other boxes: the dog houses of MoveOn.org, Daily Kos, and other rabid antiwar groups pulling their puppet strings of failure.
Their suggestion that Gen. Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker are dishonest mouthpieces for the administration is nothing more than a case of psychological projection of their own predicament.
Which makes more sense: trusting the judgment of military commanders closest to "conditions on the ground" in Iraq and with no political ax to grind, or that of partisan armchair generals on the left aisle of the Senate with little to no expertise and no constitutional authority to act as mini-commanders in chief?
Which position do you suppose Terrorists is rooting for?

well... first off where are you getting your numbers...
look Republicans... WE NEED TO GROW UP AND DEAL WITH FACTS HERE...
use the REAL names of organizations... get REAL targets...
saying "Islamic Fascists" helps NO ONE AT ALL... that could range from Egypt to Indonesia... and not everyone in those nations have attacked us or want to attack us... and even if you think they do, they all don't have the same capabilities
remember al-queda? the group that DID 9-11? why don't we try focusing on those that killed 3,000 FIRST INSTEAD OF TRYING TO KILL EVERYONE IN THE MIDDLE EAST...
because that tactic is failing miserably... ZERO FOCUS... ZERO PLAN... ZERO CLUE of what you want to do...
and Osama is still out there?
and the other thing is... Bush is "reasoning" with Saudi and Pakistan... both are basically Islamic Facist governments... there aren't freedoms in those nations...

They'll invite them over for dinner and "there there now" until they choke on their own vomit. The Liberals I mean. The Islamic Fascists will continue to find ways to kill anyone not shooting back. Little kids are easiest and then merchants in tall buildings. They don't deserve a political name. Murderers covers it .

I was thinking we could try maybe leaving them alone for a change. I mean, after all, they didn't start wanting to destroy us until we started meddling in their affairs.
Besides, all we have really done in the last four years is make Al Qaeda one of the most powerful terrorist groups ever. I mean, who ever heard of a terrorist franchise before? On top of that we are spending money exponentially. What happens when our government runs out of credit?

The only option for them is to convert since they will not accept that there is anything actually worth fighting for.
