Picture if you will: Your company tells the State seven years prior an accident that crushes a 39 year old woman that the wrong epoxy product was used and instead of fixing the problem, they let it ride until someone dies and then blame it on you for it. Thousands of people involved in the big dig over the years and you are the only person implicated in a manslaughter investigation.

How many of you think that of all the people involved in the Big Dig, this was the only company that wasn't connected politically?

Bill Clinton had 8 years to rebuild the infrastructure of this country. I guess he was too busy working in the oval office to do anything about the crumbling infrastructure.

I am visiting Dallas, TX and I am from Virginia. I lost my ID while here and you have to have an ID to get on an airplane. What can I do now? (Remember, Texans think they are their own country so I have tried calling their DMV (they dont call it that) and got no help!)

From mediamatters.org:

What Clyburn said... is that if Gen. David Petraeus were to report in September that the military effort in Iraq "is working very, very well at this point; we would be foolish to back away from it," it would cause "those 47 Blue Dogs ... to want to stay the course, and if the Republicans were to remain united, as they have been, then it would be a problem for us."

The Cons (including Mitt Romney) are idiotically taking the quote out of context, saying that Clyburn was lamenting that success in Iraq would be a blow to the Demos politically. That is clearly false. However, what did Jim Clyburn's statement really say about his own feelings about Iraq? On the one hand, he thinks that if the surge is working, we should stay. On the other hand, he is concerned that if it really is working, the Demos will not be able to get us out. This is not "rooting for defeat," as the Cons have charged, but he is fence-straddling.

What does Clyburn really want?

I have heard him repeatedly say his main job is to protect the american people. However, when he took office, he swore an oath to Protect and Defend the Constitution of the United States. So which one is his job? Personally speaking, I'd much rather have him protect the constitution....

Why only socialize medicine? I'd like universal automobile (drivers) insurance too. I'd like universal grocery coverage. What would you like to see be universally covered by the government besides healthcare? :)

Assuming for arguments sake that Cheney has had enough of Bush and decides to shoot him. Cheney, being the whiz that he is with a gun, loads the weapon incorrectly and when he fired not only does the bullet hit the target but the rifle explodes taking him out as well. Now the country doesn't have a President or a Vice President..........who takes over. Also, Bill Clinton monkeyed around with this by putting an ineligible person in a line of succession. Who was this and what made thime ineligible?

Want government to protect you, provide for all your needs, decide who gets allocated what?

Because that's what the Leftists in the Democratic Party are offering you in exchange for your votes.

I know lots of you are dissatisfied with the way the current administration has botched the post-war occupation of Iraq. But where do you think the fight in the War on Terror is going to be played out when we pull our troops home? Over here maybe.

If you put the Democrats in office in 2008, could it be that you will be less safe from terror and less free because of the socialist programs they will implement? Could it be you will become a child of government inside a vast "nanny" state?
