Yes, even if a person is on disability, they can have child support deducted. If the disability payments are very low, a "minimum" order may be put in place, but there will still be an order. If it has been some time since your support order has been reviewed, you may want to apply for a modification.

Seems you weren't too disabled to make a child.
Time to own up to your responsibility. Misfortune is not an out from parental responsibility.
Here's an idea. Find a way to spend your time making money and cancel your internet access monthly bill. There. I just solved your financial problem without neglecting your kid(s).

If your child support payments are not in line with the established rates in your state you need to petition the court to adjust the amount and soon.

I have a hard time sympathizing with parents who say they have to pay too much in child support. It seems kind of cowardly and makes me wonder if you feel ashamed at all.

If I understand your question correctly, you want to reduce your child support by getting on disability? If that's the case, you are a drain on the US. If that's not the case, clarify your question so that you don't sound like an insensitive jerk trying to deny your children money.
