It seems with our checks and balances system, nothing gets done, and particularly, the will of the people is squashed. And corruption is rampant.

So many pressing issues, and none are delt with. Whether it be Iraq, illegal immigration, the economy, or whatever, nothing is done. None of the politicians will do anything, they are lazy and corrupt, and frankly useless. It seems like whoever goes into Washington turns into a stupid bureaucrat. Are you guys tired of this? How does our government get back on track? Will it always be like this?

Im not trying to sound sexist or anything and for all the feminists out there im sure your all about the idea of a female president, but to have a female president of the U.S.? Wouldnt that in comparison to all other nations be a sign of weakness amongst our leadership? Have we become an uncontrollable society that has to be policed 24 hrs a day, before you say no think about all the chaos that goes on in our day to day lives. You know the list.... natural disasters, kids getting shot at school, drugs and immigrants flooding the country. You have to admit things have really gone to hell. Is this the reason we feel these changes in our government now? Isn't it inevitable that the government is going to take complete control? Be honest.

Obviously, one man cannot stop people from throwing him out when he tries to abuse him. But if there is a culture who is trained to think it's moral to submit to whatever claims to be an authority, then you have masses of men with guns who will kill anyone who tries to stop the dictator. In the United States, these folks are called Neocons. What were they called under Hitler? He was only one man too. Who were all those mindless followers with guns who protected the Nazi state?
